    • Great printer, easy set up, works great!
I've been fighting with dried up ink cartidges in inkjet printers for years, and finally decided to do some research on laserjet printers. Decided to try a renewed/refurbished and this was one of the few options that popped up after searching around. Couldn't be happier! It came with a very slightly used black/white cartridge (roughly 95% full), I plugged it in and was printing within 2 minutes. Haven't tried the scanner and copier functions yet, but so far I'm very impressed. There's a couple of very minor scratches on the outside, but they're barely worth mentioning. I wanted a minimalist black&white printer/scanner/copier and this fits the bill with 8 buttons and a 1"x1" mini screen. I expect many happy years of use with this. ... show more

I love that it's wifi compatible. I can be put and about and send stuff to the printer and when I get home and open the laptop it's all there. The ink last a long time and thanks to Amazon it's affordable. I recommend it highly.

For the price is excellent.. copy, scan and printer from laptop and mobile...The installation was a little complicated because I couldn't make the installation via CD. I followed the instructions to do it online, installed the drivers and couldn't connected via wifi, at the end I did it via USB, when the computer found the printer removed the USB and the wifi was working perfectly. This printer doesn't come with an user manual, only installation, I suggest to check some videos on youtube, in case people get lost. 🤔 ... show more

    • Horrible in every way
First one came in with busted glass, had to go to the library to print the return label (irony). Replacement. Sorta works. Turns off after 15ish seconds, so you'd best be quick to print. Every other 1/4 inch it fades out. Prone to jam, and it overheated after the 1st five sheets. And I'm still going to the library to print more than one page. I just have to remember to go by the bank to get cash for them. If only I had a properly functioning printer. This things going to the trash as soon as I can afford another one. I've never actually successfully returned anything on Amazon or I would do that. I was surprised they replaced the shattered one, so I guess that bumps the rating from 1 to 2 stars. There is really nothing to recommend this thing. Oh by the way. You have to you tube the wifi password to get the infernal machine to work. Neither their literature or the hp website will tell you how to find it. Update, I've been using it a while now, I'm have to reset it after every page or two. IT SOMETIMES SMOKES. Worst printer ever. I'm trying to continue using it until the ink runs out. Not sure if that's wise or even worth the wasted productivity opening and closing it constantly. DO NOT BUY. ... show more

What I appreciate about this printer is the Wireless/ Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth Printing option! Although their wasn’t a hard copy of the setup for this, there is a information sheet included in the packaging that provides a link and QR Code so that you can access the instructions. Once you download the HP SMART app to your computer device 1st then to your cell, the setup moves along fairly well! I’m no tech wiz and I got through the setup just fine! Now I did run into a few challenges but I am certain it was the user and not the manufacturer! I’m all set up now and everything works just fine! I’m running a home business for a tax office. I just hope I don’t have to replace ink cartridges too frequently! I will be back to update on that!     • Difficult to setup
...if you do not want to route all your printer data through unknown servers. I bet it is easy to setup the printer with the standard software and let HP getting all your data and automatically refill your toner. If you just want to use the printer inside your own network without sharing the printing data with somebody else it is a little bit tricky to setup. The printer is really small and has an excellent scan and printing quality. All is manual. Double sided printing is easy in two runs. Scanning is flatbed. Scanning to PDF may include OCR. I use NAPS2 on Win10 instead of the packaged HP software. Compared to other HP printers it is noisier. In the beginning I thought it is defect but this seems to be normal for this small footprint unit. ... show more

    • This is exactly the printer I need
The software was simple to download and install. I suggest finding the online manual from HP. It scans well, it prints well and copies well. It's longevity will tell me if it's a good buy for the money. I just got in three days ago.
