I replaced my older Canon photo printer that broke after several years with this HP Printer which is an upgrade to the Canon. I am really impressed with how easy it was to connect to the wi-fi in my home as I use it for both personal and business matters. You do not have to be that computer literate to set it up and the printer also came with the perk of 6 months of free HP ink which I set up through the printer and app on my phone. I printed about 50 pages and HP emailed me that they are sending my first two cartridges in the mail which I received within a week. Great service so far. I printed out photos also and they were a bit darker than life but not so dark that you could not edit the photo a bit lighter. The quality of the photos was great. I highly recommend this printer at a good price by the way, to anyone who wants to print clear pages and excellent photos. ... show more

This product was easy to set up. It serves our home use purposes as expected. The ink cartridges are expensive but we knew that. Hope they will come out with some cheaper after market cartridges soon. This printer is 5 in our household.

So far, so good 👍🏻. We replaced an HPENVY printer that we’d had for about 10 years. We never had any issues with the old one (till it eventually died) using it on a daily basis. This one was super easy to set up and get going. NOTE: After reading other reviews, I inserted the ink cartridges and DID NOT scan the QR code…I don’t want auto shipping of replacement ink, because I found with our last HPE printer that the less expensive ones work just fine. Wi-Fi set up took literally seconds. The paper tray holds a good size stack of paper, and the ink section is easy to access. The little info window tilts upwards or lays flat..tilted makes it much easier to see and use. It has a QUIET print mode, and while it’s definitely quieter than regular mode it significantly slows the print process. Nice looking, clean lines, simple features. 👍🏻 ... show more

I used to love the HP Instant Ink service where it automatically detects when you’re running low on ink, and they ship you new cartridges. However, something in the last few years has happened where this services just flat out suck. Their HP smart app rarely works. If you go through periods of time where you cancel your instant ink service because you’re not printing a whole lot, but then you want to re-enroll, the process to re-enroll is getting harder and harder to figure out because you end up in this loop of being on the HP website, then it tells you that you have to finish set up in the app, then the app doesn’t work and some how re-routes you back to the website…rinse and repeat. It’s the most frustrating process, that I’m close to just throwing out this brand new printer. The printer itself is great, but I specifically signed up for this for the ease of having ink shipped to me, and you do pay less out of pocket. In order for me to use my printer right now, I’d have to go buy ink from the store which is around $100 for black and then colored cartridges, where as I was paying like USD$3.99 for 50 sheets a month. The idea is fantastic, but HP’s execution is unbearable. Save yourself the hassle and buy something else. ... show more
