Description

The Princeton Grandfather Clock is finished in Hampton Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers. Swan-neck pediment features a turned urn finial and a decorative shell overlay. Decorative olive ash burl patterned back and bottom panel. Base includes a decorative cutout. Polished-brass dial features elaborate corner spandrels, center disk, silver chapter ring with black Arabic numerals, and a stationary midnight blue moon phase. Hinged door framed by simple but elegant columns.     • This was a very poor example of a Howard Miller clock.
The quality of the craftsmanship was very poor. It appeared to have a irregular veneer color densities. Some were lighter than others directly had eye level. The finish was very irregular as well and not smooth to the touch. We didn't care for it and never even got to assemble the clock at all. We packed it up and returned it within 2 days ... show more

The clock looks nice, easy to put together and we still have a bit to figure it out how to program the chiming. The only problem is that it came with a bit of a loose part, top right, as seen in the photo. I am not sure about the warranty, as it says: " Our warranty is available exclusively through authorized retailers only", but it doesn't say how to purchase. Trying to determine if to return. I wish I would've spent a little bit more to get something sturdier. ... show more

The clock is a bargain. The wood finish is beautiful, and the digital sound is quite realistic and pleasant. It is great to have alternate melodies. The quartz mechanism allows for the convenient feature of turning itself off at night.

    • Help!!
My grandfather clock was wound several weeks ago. At that time when clock would chime on the hour it would be one hour behind. For example seven o’clock was ringing with six chimes. Each time we have rewound the clock I lose an hour. Now it is three hours late. What can I do to correct this.
