These are really great mugs and I liked them lots. Until it came time for cleaning. I hand wash my dishes. These lids are mildly complex and involve more time to clean their intricate construction. Plentiful nooks and crannies. The straw hole has a cap that traps liquid. Have to hold back the spring-loaded cap to wash inside, and again when air drying after using a dish towel. I didn't want mold and mildew to accumulate. That would impart unwanted added flavor to coffee. Other than the cleaning difficulty, these are really great mugs. ... show more

I bought this to replace a crummy old plastic lined coffee cup. Get away from the interior plastic and move on to stainless steel. This is such a great mug. It keeps a hot beverage for hours (if you don't drink it fast enough). At this price, you cannot go wrong

In my opinion, it doesn't hold heat the way mugs like Contigo do, but at a lower price, and a unique design, it is wonderful!
