This Ivana Wall Clock by Howard Miller is made with wrought-iron and finished in antique black with gold highlights. The aged dial includes black Roman numerals, black spade hands, antique black bezel, and convex crystal. The quartz movement requires two AA sized batteries (not included). Howard C. I bought this wall clock for a small wall in my daughters new apartment living room. She loves it & it goes great with her decor. The face IS a bit smaller than I anticipated, however, it still looks great! It takes 2 AA batteries. One for the clock mechanism and one to swing the pendulum. The pendulum was in a separate cardboard box & you just hang it on a piece on the back & up on the wall. Couldn't have been easier. ... show more

Evidently the clock that was sent to me was used, returned, or flat out missed quality control. The plastic piece that covers the dials is smeared and or scratched. I cleaned it three times thinking it was on the outside, it's inside. It's very noticable, especially when the light is on. This company says they have quality workmanship. I beg to differ. It's a nice looking clock, but I know it's not perfect. The price of the clock was almost $100.00, that's a lot for me to pay for a clock.... especially a clock that did not arrive in perfect condition. I would have returned it, except I threw the box away. Would I order from this company again, I don't think so. You can not see the damage in the picture because of the glare. ... show more

    • PENDULUM DOES NOT WORK
I purchased this in July 2018. The pendulum only worked intermittently from the beginning. Now, November 2018, it does not work at all. Yes, I have tried fresh, new batteries (the pendulum operates on its own batteries - i.e. the clock also has its own batteries.) I gave it a one star rating, because I assume everyone buys it for the moving pendulum. I do not know if am covered by the warranty, because there is a disclaimer above that the warranty does not apply to purchases from third party sellers. i do not know if Amazon is a "3rd party seller"? ... show more
