Installation: Fit right in the hole from the old sink. Silicone and tighten the clamps, and you are done. Drain was a bit of putzing because I went from 2 hole to 1 hole, but easily doable. Quality and use: Totally awesome quality and fit and finish. The `bottom grate I am adjusting to, but the drain/wire drying rack/cutting board a sweet. The sink comes with a large drain cover as well as a stopper and basket to catch stuff. Both are nice - the large drain cover gives the sink a very finished look. The cutting board nests against the drain, allowing you to cut and rinse in one easy step - nice! The drying rack fits nicely, and is useful for drying stuff. The size of this sink is great, and all pans will fit no problem. A few notes: Cutting board is not maple or bamboo. It is a dark wood that is a little more porous, as are the handles on the drain. Strongly recommend these be soaked in oil and waxed routinely.

i love the depth of this sink! its amazing and large. installation was easy because its what my dad does for a living but its not one size fits all. he did have to adjust a little because my countertops are thick. it DOES scratch easy! i think that's the only downside to this sink, it's very high maintenance. i usuallly wash my sink after dishes but you also have to dry it to avoid water marks. always leave the bottom rack on because the bottom will scratch easily. it drains pretty good. i usually take off the black part and rinse it off to avoid build up. I regret looking for a sink with all the extras because the only one i use is the drying rack. everything else gets in the way. I ended up getting a more water friendly cutting board and its less maintenance to get a plastic strainer. yes it looks pretty with everything on the sink but not worth the price in my opinion. i saw a similar KRAUS cheaper at Sams Club Warehouse.

To start, this was the best packaged item I've ever received. Arrived quickly and in mint condition. I purchased the 28" drop in for and upgrade to my kitchen with laminated counter top. This sink is very well built and really makes the kitchen. Getting the bigger sink frees up and creates more space when using the cutting board and drying rack. All said and done you will love it, but good luck installing it. Removing the old sink, cutting the countertop and installing the disposal mount and faucet are straight forward and easy. That said, 90 percent of my time was spent installing the clips. There in no room to install them from underneath, buy you can pre install the front and back and drop the sink in. The sides you can get by lifting the sink up an inch or so, and slipping the clips in and locking in place with a screw drive. Once installed, you need several extensions on the screw driver in order to reach. After this trial though if you have laminated counter tops you find that fully tight, the clips don't travel far enough to grip the counter top. This is a big design flaw. The entire clip design is poorly thought out and makes for a nightmare that in the end doesn't work. Home intaller beware. Regardless, the clips are installed to no good, but the sink is caulked in and not going anywhere. All installed it looks great, and I love the functionality of the board / strainer / drying rack. The sink is high quality and really makes for a more functional kitchen.

I had a two sided deep dish sink. My daughter bought a house and she had a single tub sink. I liked it. But wasn’t sure if I was ready for a change. I researched, I read all the reviews, I did a poll on facebook. I didn’t know if I wanted to take the leap and get a single tub sink. What if I hated it. Well I DO NOT HATE IT! Husband installed it with very little effort. As stated in the bad reviews if you’re putting this sink in a new counter top. You won’t have trouble with the clips. . But if you are dropping it in an exciting hole you might run into some snags. Nothing that can’t be figured out though. I do not care for the cutting board that comes with the sink, it’s wood and I don’t like the way it feels. That’s all me. Plastic ones can be bought to fit and in my opinion depending on your decor plastic may look better. I have not decided if I am going to leave the wire rack in the bottom or not, I don’t want to scratch the sink but I do feel like I’m chasing food and stuff down the drain with water, when I could jut be using a squeegee to wipe it down. I’ll give it a while longer before I decide to move it out! All in all. I think it was worth the price. It was packed very well unlike some of the negative reviews that to be honest scared me. If you’re thinking about it, just do it. It’s worth it!

The negative. The sink took a long time to get. The sink is very well packaged and protected on the sides and top... however, the bottom of the sink has absolutely no protection at all. We received our sink only to find a nice quarter size dent on the bottom of the sink basin. The bottom of the box had a small puncture/dent in it from transit. We return the sink and got a replacement, no rush delivery was available, so we had to wait another month. The positive The second sink we got, still did not have any bottom shipping protection (other than the box), but got to us un-damaged. Ths sink was easy to install, and looks absolutely fantastic. We love the 1 large sink basin, it holds many more dishes, and never looks full. We also find that having the 1 large basin, it's easier to do the dishes, compared to a double basin. I cant say enough great thing about this sink. We have had it installed about 2 months now, and it still looks great. So in the end expect a long shipping wait time, (a few weeks), and get your sink early to make sure there is no damage, so you dont have to put the project on hold while you wait for a replacement to get to you. Well worth the wait and the price!!
