I ordered this electric mobility scooter July 18, 2025 but could not use it until after receiving parts on August 19, 2025 (so the seller’s 1 year warranty is under 11 months in my case). At the end of this review are some details about this issue, but let me get right to the pros and cons. Disclaimer: While I assemble, try, and review a substantial number of mobility devices, this is my first electric mobility scooter. PROS: ↑ ASSEMBLY is reasonable (provided all of the parts are included; HOWEVER, see CONS below). ↑ CONTROLS are mostly easy to use (HOWEVER, see CONS below). ↑ LOW TIP-OVER RISK to me with rear tip protection attached (HOWEVER, see CONS below). ↑ LOWER COST than many others (although I would likely put my money in to another option). ↑ SEAT IS RELATIVELY COMFORTABLE. ↑ BRIGHT HEADLIGHT and LOUD ENOUGH HORN. ↑ SPEED is pretty good listed as 3.73 MPH (on flat ground). ↑ BATTERY allows for a listed 13 miles and takes 5 hours to fully charge. ↑ WEIGHT CAPACITY is 330 pounds. CONS: ↓ ASSEMBLY Instructions incorrectly state seat attachment screws are in the package; this caused a major delay and the reason I could not use the scooter for over a month after ordering it. ↓ CONTROLS (REVERSE) NOT indicated in the instructions (switch is on the lower part of the left handle). ↓ LOW TIP-OVER RISK for this 3-wheeler is in large part at the cost of having a VERY wide turning radius. ↓ VERY HEAVY at 61 pounds and not really travel friendly to me (and I am very able bodied and work out regularly). ↓ WIRING could be better tied down and or covered up. ↓ FORWARD lever did not initially engage on a few occasions (but ultimately did work); a long term concern to me. ↓ LEVEL SURFACES ONLY: Per instructions, NO angles greater than 5 degrees sideways or 10 degrees forward / backwards. OVERALL, I would likely put my money in to another option, particularly 4-wheel models with a much better turning radius. HOWEVER, is it usable and budget friendly in terms of the initial cost. Time will tell regarding how well it will do long term. This is effectively the END of my review (unless you want to read on below). If interested, here are some background details on my parts issues and why it took over a month to resolve. The instructions state the 4 screws to attach the seat are in the package (this package contained all of the parts). The screws were not there and I looked (and looked) everywhere in the box and even checked if they were taped on to the seat etc. I tried calling the seller but the phone number provided was only for sales. I sent an email on August 5, 2025 to their customer service and they got back to me about 51 hours later. After a few additional emails, the parts were finally received August 19, 2025. While the screws they sent fit, they were not black oxide coated like all the other parts on the scooter (black oxide coating helps resist corrosion and is a real plus). When I went to install the seat, I realized the screws were already attached to the seat (they looked like part of the seat and a place to attach the screws). This is different than what is stated in the manual, and the customer service representatives did not tell me the screws were attached to the seat (which would have avoided the entire issue). To me this means that either the instructions should be corrected or that this may have been a returned item (in fairness, if it was returned, everything was in new condition). A note about Amazon customer service: When I could not quickly contact the seller, Amazon customer service quickly helped and arranged proper parts (from Amazon listings) to be sent to me. I followed through with the seller’s customer service to see how well they handled the issue. My impression was not great however, they did eventually get parts to me (that were not as good as the original parts).

This review is for the following item: HOVERFLY T3 Mobility Scooter, 3-Wheel Electric Powered Mobile Wheelchair for Adults – Folding, Compact for Travel, 13 Miles Long Range LiFePO4 Battery, 3.7MPH, 8.5" Solid Tires, Max Load 330 LBS, Blue First off, this scooter weighs a lot! At 61 pounds, this is going to be probably too heavy for most people to lift up and put into their vehicle. I struggled getting it out of the box and I am not weak. So I knew from the get go, this was going to have limited use. If this is going to be a scooter that you are going to keep in your garage or shed to use when you go for outings in your neighborhood, then this will probably be fantastic for you. If you want to take this scooter in your vehicle, you will need someone with strength to get it loaded for you. It is also important to note that this walker should NOT be used on slopes that are greater than 10 degrees. Also if the scooter is being driven on a sideways slope, that slope can NOT be greater than 5 degrees. The scooter can not be used on sand, swamp, snow or ice. There are anti-tip wheels on the back of the scooter. You can NOT go down steep bumps. Nothing steeper than 5 cm. Since this is a 3 wheel scooter, turns are a bit tricky. You definitely must take the turn slowly to avoid tipping the scooter. The battery charges up easily. Plug it in and it will be fully charged in about 5 hours. You should be able to get approximately 13 miles to a charge. I did not go 13 miles yet, so I can't speak to how accurate that actually is. The handle bars are easy to adjust so you can have them straight up, or leaning towards you. The adjustment only takes a minute so you can have your arms at a comfortable angle when using the scooter. The brake handle comes assembled under the hand grip on the left side. It is very easy to move it to a more comfortable position with the included allen wrench. The one thing that is very confusing to me is it states that this scooter is for a person up to 330 pounds. But the manual clearly states on page 3, to never exceed the 264 pound maximum load rating. Since I am well below the 264 pounds, I am not concerned for myself, but wanted to point this out to someone who might be close to that weight or more. The scooter is very sturdy which accounts for the weight. You can remove the seat and the basket if you are going to be transporting the scooter. The handlebar arm folds down and the frame will also fold. But it is awkward to get a good hold on this scooter to load it up by oneself. Also be aware that the scooter can not get wet. If the electrical parts which are on the top of the handlebars get wet, it can cause the scooter to no longer function. Also be aware that if you are keeping the scooter in your garage and you get freezing weather, the battery can not be allowed to freeze.

This has been an incredible tool in allowing my mum to feel more independent. We had the other 4 wheel one before but that one didn't fit in our car folded. This one however is much lighter and easier to bring with us to the mall or the park. The seat is comfortable and the design is minimalistic. Most importantly the functionality is super easy for her to get used to.
