This has been the best hose I have ever purchased. I ordered a long one as I have a large yard to cover. The yard is covered with pavers, gravel, pots and planters. Along with furniture. This hose glides over all the gravel and pavers and around the furniture without catching or moving the items around. It's lightweight. Other rubber/plastic hoses this length were too hard for me to wrangle. It is used in a salt-air coastal location and so far has not shown any rust or deterioration of any kind. I will store it inside for the winter. It's also easy to coil up and doesn't take up much space.

For the first time in my life, dragging the hose around isn't an aggravating experience. Virtually all modern conventional hoses are plastic garbage. I've kept them on hose reels to minimize all potential twisting, etc... to no avail. These metal jacketed hoses are simply superior in every way. This new style is worth the purchase price if for no other reason than it's no-kink quality. Let me put it this way: I've switched over to this hose style entirely. Every hose I have is now this style. All of the old ones, two of which were "high quality heavy duty" new ones, are going into the dumpster. And I couldn't be happier about it.

My old hose was heavy duty and got a hole in it. It was heavy to lift and hard to wind onto the stand. This hose is the opposite. It feels great in your hand, is a dream to manipulate and does not drag accross the planting beds squishing the plants. No kinks causing disruptions in the water flow. Does not come with a spray nozzle but does come with extra washers. Since I was replacing an old hose I already had a working nozzle so I just replaced the old washers. Water pressure is decreased, due to smaller diameter of the inside pipe, so good to water plants but I will have to use a pressure washer to clean items like the driveway. Love the length.

This is a great hose! For anyone who hasn’t tried a metal hose, you must get one. These are even better than the water hoses from fifty years ago when they were still made with pride. It is light, despite being metal (rubber is heavier than aluminum), and won’t kink no matter how hard you try to get it to. The price is competitive with the lousy rubber hoses as well. Don’t do what I did and order only a 25 foot hose. You can get quadruple the length for less than double the price. If you will ever need as much as a 100 foot hose, do that.

This hose is nice and works well but didn’t come with a nozzle or sprayer. It leaks slightly when I attached my own sprayer and I fixed that with the included extra washer. Overall I love the length and durability of it and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a long hose that doesn’t easily kink.
