These don’t push a lot of air. They worked great for our sunroom, but I’ve installed these for exterior patios and customers always complain about the light airflow compared to their older fans. Blades aren’t pitched enough for outdoor use.

We installed using the Flush Mount to Ceiling option. Easy installation. This item weighs 22#, so securing to heavy duty ceiling junction box is required. Good thing that wasn't a problem for us as we had one already in place. When we had this house built, the electrical boxes above the beds in each bedroom were wired for the future installation of ceiling fans at a later date. There's a 3-way switch wire where a ceiling fan can be operated by pull chain for the fan, and the light can be controlled either by the pull chain being left on and operated from the wall mounted light switch to turn the light off and on leaving the fan running independently from the wall switch. We use our other ceiling fans running 24/7/365 and turn the light on when needed via wall switch. There is no remote control as we really don't need yet another remote to keep track of. The 52" size works perfectly for a small to medium sized bedroom. This was more affordable than Home Depot or Lowes, so we're quite pleased with the cost. We might get another one in a different color to replace an older ceiling fan, as this design and size of blades is really awesome. Came with 2 "E26A15-6.5D-30200-B328-01" (120V 60Hz) lightbulb. This ceiling fan emits a softly diffused light, and operates whisper quite. The fan has 4 speeds. 2nd speed really circulates the air and makes it feel really comfortable. Probably the easiest ceiling fan to install providing you have the mounting box already installed in your ceiling. I went with this fan because it has plastic blades and I mounted it outside along with a mister system. My only complaint is that it doesn't put out as much air as I would like for it to. Easy fix though. Just bend the blades a tad bit more in the aggressive direction and it'll put out the flow you desire. ... show more

The fan looks great and it works well. I just wish you could switch the globe. I'm using this outside. Its open at the top. I was hoping I could have switched it out for one that was enclosed. But there is no way to place it. Atleast its a nice looking light
