False advertising on this unit. Was told it would hold 50lbs of ice and make 200lbs/24hr. Not the case at all. Holds maybe 10-15 lbs. And makes about 30 lbs/24hr. Didn't find this out till we finished our building and installed it. DO NOT BUY! Especially if you're looking for what the description says.

This ice maker is well-built and does produce a solid amount of ice, but the listing is misleading. It absolutely does not hold 50 lbs of ice—more like 15 lbs, maybe 20 if you’re lucky. That’s a big issue if you’re planning for event service or high-demand use. It still functions and makes ice consistently, but the storage capacity is way oversold. If they updated the specs to reflect the real numbers, this would be an easy 4 or 5 star unit. As it stands, I can’t recommend it for anyone who actually needs a full 50-lb bin.

This seems to be working well. The only complaint I have is i doubt it’s a 50lb storage capacity. Looks to be about 25-30 but I just fill some bags so we have enough ice for my daughters softball tournaments.
