My Dyson animal v6 is old and the canister latch broke. I loved that thing but when I decided to replace it. When I saw the prices of the newer Dyson’s, I almost died. I shopped around for 2 weeks and finally decided to try this even though there were only 3 reviews. Maybe I would find a gem. It’s nice and simple. Sleek and light-ish weight. I love that you don’t have to hold down the trigger and the light on the head is handy. I started on my tile floor. The light pointed out all the dirt and it seemed to disappear but I didn’t see much in the canister. Then I moved to the carpeted stairs. The swivel head was helpful but it didn’t seem to suction to the carpet and zoomed over the areas. Lastly I moved to the carpeted 2nd floor which had not been vacuumed in weeks and insulation particles were all over the place. It sucked up the large pieces but the lint particles on the floor would not move even on high power. Anyway, I completed the 2nd floor and decided to compare it to the Dyson. So I taped up the canister and started with the stairs. There was a clear difference with the suction. It didn’t zoom over the carpet but instead steadily sucked and maneuvered. I revacuumed the upstairs. Same areas. No more no less. The Dyson picked up 3x as much as the Homeika after it had the first go around. So in conclusion, maybe it would be good for hard floors with light stuff to suck up. Unfortunately it is not the gem I was hoping for and will be returned. Still don’t want to pay the price for a new Dyson but may bite the bullet. ... show more

I guess you get what you paid for, maybe less. I really wanted to like this product. I loved the description but the reality is that is not a practical vacuum. Pros: cordless, its light weight and is neat looking Cons: hard to maneuver, poor suction power even at the highest level, does not clean well specially on the corners and edges, not worth the money. Overall, the floor is much cleaner when using a broomstick or corded vacuum. Not worth the trouble ... show more

I have 4 kids and 2 small Yorkies , my house is a very busy house ! We use it all day everyday 20 times a day to pick up , cereal ,crumbs , dust, grass from when the dogs come inside . Our Eureka burned out within months of being purchased and decided to give this one a try , best decision ever .. it’s very powerful , and very easy for kids to use as well ! ... show more

I'm impressed with all aspects with this vacuum out of the box. It's powerful for its size. The telescoping neck is awesome. Now i wont have to search for the tube. The lights in the powerhead are a nice touch. My place is fairly small so I've yet to run out of battery. The only thing I cannot comment on is its longevity since it's a recent purchase. ... show more

I have many physical issues and this little guy is the best thing you can do. I have had hoovers, bissel and many other big vacuums but this is the best. Soooooo easy to use you can quickly clean up anytime, without cords to move around with you from room to room. Not to mention lugging a heavy machine up and down stairs and from room to room. Even if you have a big home you should get this for keeping it clean like a broom but easier. Very happy camper here!!!! ... show more

Suction power is strong enough for the purpose I use it for. I like the different speed options and the duration of the battery. One slight downside is the container that holds the dust is a bit small. I have to empty at least 2 times when I vacuum my house. For the price, the suction power is pretty good ... show more

I don't usually write reviews on products but I wanted to review this vacuum because I bought it based off the wonderful reviews I had seen. Il this vacuum isn't very powerful, I always have it on level 3 when vacuuming, and the battery lasts maybe 15 minutes. (This is after cleaning out the filter) So not enough to vacuum my entire 900 sq ft house in one go. I also want to mention that it is kinda heavy in an awkward way and it doesn't stand up on its own. It's actually kinda difficult to even get it to lean against the wall. Not a terrible vacuum if you don't have a ton of stuff to get up but I have two kids, two dogs, and a cat. ... show more

This is perfect for us. We have dogs. Their hair gets all over the house. This is the perfect vacuum for spot cleaning or even just a quick vacuuming of the whole living room or bedroom. It's very maneuverable and easy to clean after
