  • Comfortable, but NOT adjustable, and hard to assemble
Color: Black
Long story short: does not adjust at all, but is extremely comfortable, like, amazingly wow holy crap is it comfortable, comfortable. If it’s fixed position happens to be the perfect position for you, you’ve lucked out with the most comfortable chair for this price ever. Difficult to put together, impossible if you’re disabled at all, but doable if you have experience, strength, and patience. Cheap, but still a good value. Long story: So A+++++ for comfort, oh my god. I’ve looked and looked and looked for a chair that doesn’t hurt my back, and doesn’t make my butt sore during long sessions. This is it! 6+ hours, absolutely no pain, which is unheard of for me. However: it’s NOT AT ALL ADJUSTABLE IN ANY WAY. It only swivels back and forth. It is NOT a “recliner” in the sense that you can recline it. It simply IS reclined - permanently. There’s no way to adjust the angle of recline, at all. It also doesn’t go up and down. And it’s QUITE reclined! It’s perfect for laying back, putting your feet up and watching TV. And for me, with two pillows to prop me up, it’s perfect for sitting at my desk, with my feet up, working or playing games for hours. But without those pillows, I would not be able to use this at my desk. It also doesn’t go up and down at all. I did a ton of research and reading reviews to make sure it wouldn’t be too tall for me to fit under my desk. It’s perfect for that. It’s quite low for, say, a living room recliner. I think folks who have trouble getting out of low chairs might want to keep looking. I have a little trouble with that, but it’s a lot less trouble when I’m not sore, and since this chair doesn’t make me sore, it’s a trade off that’s totally worth it. Assembly was an adventure! I had no help. Getting the back and seat aligned properly to insert the pins that hold them in place relative to each other was extremely difficult. I had to lay on the floor, use my foot to hold the seat down hard enough, use one arm to hold the back with enough tension against the seat, and then use my one remaining arm/hand to shove/wiggle the pin through the holes for the brief moment I could pull hard enough with hand and foot to get the holes aligned. Attaching the arms was such a pain! Aligning the holes in the arms with the holes in the frame was extremely hard, due to the tight fit of the arms between the body and the frame of the chair. Then, the holes are very close to the body of the chair, so you cannot simply turn the allen wrench - you have to remove and reinsert the wrench over and over after half turns if the scree. Many many many many many times. That is what took me the longest of all, and my hands both cramped several times. I had to stop and rest and stretch and massage my hands multiple times for each chair arm. I also had to have the entire chair upside down to do any of this, because the screws go in from the bottom. So either you do this laying down, or do it blind, or turn the chair upside down. I chose turning the chair upside down, due to how long it was taking, and doing it blind being literally impossible since aligning the holes was hard enough even when you can see everything. Lastly - the instructions have errors. They’re pictures and numbers only - like IKEA - but unlike ikea, they’re not detailed, and some bits are wrong. For example, the part explaining how the brackets for the back and seat are supposed to line up don’t show ANY detail. If you don’t have experience with this kind of thing, you’d have no idea you need to align two different parts with holes and then insert a screw in the aligned holes to keep them locked in place. If you do have experience, you’ll think this is common sense, but common sense doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have the experience from which to infer these things. And the instructions have two sections where it wants you to use a certain part number - of which you get two. In the correct place, you use both of those two. In the incorrect place, you’re instructed to use 4 more of them. Luckily, the parts you’re ACTUALLY supposed to use there aren’t shown, so via process of elimination, I could figure out which part number to use instead. But even that was tricky, since the diagram instructions used the same icon for two parts that are different sizes/shapes. So you have to go by part number, rather than size/shape depicted in the diagram. Also, some of the quantities for the parts in the inventory list were hand-corrected in pen. I’m grateful they were corrected at all, but that shows you kind of what you’re working with here. That said: I fricking LOVE this chair. It’s a dang miracle that I have a piece of furniture that causes me ZERO pain in my butt or back or hips or arms despite sitting in it without moving or getting up for 6+ hours. That’s just.. beyond my wildest dreams. I am very fortunate that the fixed position works perfectly for me with a couple of pillows. I couldn’t be happier with the comfort, and as much trouble as it was to assemble, I am tempted to buy a couple more so that when this one breaks, I know I’ll have a backup that’s identical. I’m THAT happy with the comfort. It’s also extremely inexpensive compared to other “recliners” and even office or “gaming” chairs that claim to be comfortable for fat folks. So while the materials are definitely cheap, I would still say it’s a good value. Lastly: “”””massage””” and heat. The “””massage””” is just vibration, but it feels nice, not gonna lie. The heat? I can’t feel it. Other reviews said the same, so I expected that going in, but yeah, I don’t feel anything. Overall: I love this chair, despite it being a pain in the butt to assemble, and not being adjustable at all. ... show more

  • Don’t think your getting correct items
Color: Black
We received our chairs, as we ordered two of the same chairs. We found some small nicks and scratches, but not bad. We had them almost together and went to put the arms on. One set of the arms were apart. Apparently the way the connect the two parts, was not screwed correctly, they were showing. As if that wasn’t enough, the arms on the second chair, were not the correct arms as the holes did not line up, the bottoms were square, not in angle. So we had two sets of messed up arms. I contacted the company, there email was not working, wonder why, so went through Amazon. We told them we wanted two replacement sets of arms. Told them the reason. So we received an email asking what type of chair, part number. So we sent them the chair name and part number from their sheet. They stated they were sending them. Two weeks later, we received one set of arms and they were the wrong ones, the square end ones like the ones that came with the chair that don’t work. So emailed them, with yet again more pictures. They agreed to send yet again two sets. Two weeks more, we get one set, not two, of the correct one. So why not send two of this one, as they were the correct one. So we sent yet another email asking for another set they just sent, with curved end. Another two weeks, and we got yet another wrong set. Wow, so incompetent. We will never purchase from this company. The chairs themselves are not too bad, if your short, the headrest is high. You have a fifty fifty chance your getting a good product, but don’t depend on getting the correct replacement part ... show more

  • Assembly was problematic but otherwise I'm happy.
Color: Black
It is well padded and feels sturdy. Time will tell how well it holds up. There are five massage settings. I figure I'll always have it set on intense. I couldn't tell a difference when the heater was turned on. I feel pampered. If you have back problems, it won't solve them. The massager is 4 zones that vibrate. There are no kneading mechanisms, which is why it is comfortable to simply sit in. Assembly instructions are poor. Here a clue. The longest screws are used to hold the back of the chair to the arm rests. This is where I used the washers. The fake leather covered the nuts. I used a Philips screwdriver to punch a hole in the leather. As for the power connectors, like colors plug into like colors. ... show more

  • dont waste money on a knock off!!
Color: Black
dont waste your money like i did. this chair is horrible. stays in a reclined position. the angle doesnt change. the arms are so low they are almost level with the seat. the 6 screws needed to assemble the chair dont match up. luckily, I was able to get one screw in each arm rest to hold them onto the frame. has 2 of those spin adjusters and they do nothing. I would return it if it wasnt such a hassle to do so. I will just use it till it breaks in a month or so.. thats the longest i will give this Knock off of a chair. ... show more

  • Assembly information is unclear and not sturdy enough
Color: Black
I received this yesterday, and it took much longer to put together than it should because some of the directions are incorrect. They showed some of the screws going into different parts that simply weren't long enough to go into. Aside from that, it's lack of adjustments are irritating. There are two knobs you can turn that will let you move it from a sitting to reclined position, which is somewhat annoying, but not troublesome. What is troublesome is the cheap cardboard that they used in the arms. I've had this less than a day and when I used my hands to help support myself to get up, I could feel the cardboard start to give. On day one. I'm glad I paid extra for the warranty because this chair will not last. It's comfortable, but is not strong enough. ... show more

Color: Brown
Love this chair except for the seat, after sitting for 30 min it causes both sciatica on each hip to start hurting. By the end of shift I’m in lot pain. Right now using a memory foam pillow that help, I have ordered a cushion to prevent sciatica additional cost $40. Other than seat I love everything about it ... show more
