This is my first new couch purchase and I’m very pleased. It is definitely a firm couch. I’ve slept on it a few times and it’s not the most comfortable but I like a firm mattress so it wasn’t too bad. Definitely wouldn’t want it to be an every day sleeper but for guests staying a night or two, its great. I love having it all the way out when lounging with my kid and dog, lots of space for everyone! The chaise lounge with the space underneath is awesome. It cleans up easily, hair and debris very easy to sweep off. It was very easy to assemble. And the company was a bit delayed on my expected shipping and they communicated with me very quickly and even gave me some money back for the delay! Nice looking, well constructed, and functional piece of furniture. I really like the concept and functionality of it for space savings. Plus, the chaise section and back cushions are comfortable. Do not plan to use this long term as a permanent sleeping solution though, as the cushions do warp a bit and the once comfortably firm surface becomes hard and uncomfortable especially at joint between the chaise and the pullout section. I'd only recommend this for people under 5'8" as well due to its compact width. But when the bed portion is pulled out/deployed, you can always sleep at a slight angle for way more space. For a tiny space, guest room or temporary accommodation, this is a good product. I do not regret my purchase. I am 5'8" muscular at 230lbs for reference. ... show more

I was nervous about buying something that needed to be comfortable to sleep on without having tried it first, but was not disappointed. I was able to assemble this on my own, with just the alan key provided and a sturdy screwdriver. The only slightly tricky part was hooking on the chaise to the main sofa, but I was able to maneuver it to lock on. If you're looking for a super soft and squishy sofa, this is not it. I wanted something firm to sleep on, which the seat part provides. The back cushions are soft and comfortable, so for me this is a perfect combination. The chaise top lifts easily for storing bedding or whatever else you may want to use it for. I had been looking at Ikea sofas for some time, but there is no local Ikea and delivery is extremely expensive. This sofa was far less expensive, and excellent value with free shipping. It fits perfectly in my tiny apartment and It feels sturdy, so I'm hoping that it will last for some time. ... show more

This set fits perfectly in my office/spare bedroom. I wanted a convertible couch to serve as a couch mostly, but that could be converted to a bed if I have guests. The size is adequate. I would've loved if it were a few inches bigger. It is VERY firm. Im definitely going to have to get a topper to be used when guests come, bc it is not comfortable to sleep on, unless you like an extremely firm mattress (which I do not). I'm also 5ft2 and found the chaise to be a bit short, as well. It was easy to assemble by myself. Summary: great small space convertible sofa if you like a firm couch. More details: *The couch is very firm- this is what I wanted. But if you want a cushy couch that you sink into, this is not it! This couch is better quality than I expected for the price (I paid about $600 + tax). When assembling it and using it, everything feels very sturdy. No creaking, wobbling, etc. The fabric has a neutral feel- not super cozy but not rough, and seems like it won’t get stained easily. The cat immediately jumped on it, and his (very light) grabbing at it with his nails did not damage it. He is not a massive scratcher though, so cat at your own risk. You can see from the given dimensions that it’s a small couch. The seat isn’t super deep, but it’s great for comfortable discussion when you don’t want to sink back, and the pullout allows you to put your feet up for cozier times. The rollout part is well supported, and you can sit on the end of it without feeling like you will make it sag or break like a lot of pullout couches I’ve seen. The storage under the chaise is awesome. It’s very firm, so I wouldn’t expect an adult guest to sleep overnight on it without a foam pad, but younger people might not care. It’s a full size, so you can easily get a foam pad to go on it for cheap. I can stretch out fully at 5’5”, but anyone taller than maybe 5’6” or 5’7” won’t be able to fully stretch out. Seems like a great option for kids, teens, college students, or people without back issues. For the price, it’s handy. I mostly like the bed pullout for being able to put our legs up while we watch tv. It creates a funny “movie night” atmosphere. Shipping (will vary based on where you are) and assembly: My couch was delivered to my porch in 3 very heavy boxes (all arrived at the same time) by FedEx. The seller provided great tracking information and updates. I was given a delivery day and window ahead of time by signing up for FedEx alerts for the tracking number I was given. I managed to put this couch together by myself, but you probably want a buddy. The couch pieces were well packaged, but unboxing was a bit confusing. ***The instructions and all of the pieces are inside the chaise lounge, so open that box first*** Cushions and such are all stashed in the couch like a perfect Tetris game for shipping, so find those instructions to make sure you’ve pulled everything out. All of the hardware was in a black felt bag in the chaise as well. The instructions could be more detailed, but assembly wasn’t too hard. I did it on my own (I can use a drill, but that’s the extent of my skills). I did use a drill instead of a screwdriver for the L shaped leg feet, and that was way easier on my arms. They provide you will everything you need except a screwdriver or drill. Make sure you follow the order of the instructions rather than trying to assemble it on your own, or things won’t fit as easily. The headboard-type backs go with the black soft side towards you- this is the soft side of the Velcro that the cushions will stick to. The cushions come with a strip of soft fabric covering the Velcro- just pull that off and set them down against the couch back, and they Velcro on perfectly. All in all, it’s probably not my forever couch, but for $600+tax, I think it will last me as long as I’m in my little condo, until I move to a forever house that I want to buy a $2000 forever couch for, and even then, it would make a great office or playroom couch. I’m very satisfied with the quality, assembly, and look for the price. Once again, this is a FIRM couch and you will be unhappy if that’s not what you wanted. 3.5 year update December 2025: this couch is still great! My cat has put a few snags in it, but not much for how much he climbs it. It’s also survived multiple dogs. Guests give it lots of compliments. My brother slept on it with a 1” foam topper and said it was as comfortable as the fancy air mattress he usually stay on. I’d buy it all over again! ... show more

Update: we have had this sofa for a year and are now planning on getting rid of it. We havent sat on it in months, our guests dont want to sleep on it, and it causes stress in my home. It is very hard and very uncomfortable. I purchased it for its economy, but I got what I paid for-a cheap uncomfortable item that I now have to pay someone to haul to the dump. 1. The product is delivered in 3 separate, very large boxes. It took the delivery service a week and a half to deliver all 3 boxes. 2. The item was easy enough to assemble, despite some confusing instructions. It is very sturdy. 3. There is little padding on the seat area and it sits with the comfort level of a park bench. 4. We had a guest stay for a few days and found out it sleeps with the comfort level of a park bench too. 5. We had to purchase a mattress to put on top of it so that our next holiday guests don't have the "park bench" sleeping experience. After the holidays, this item will be moved to the game room where unsuspecting teenagers will sit on it. We will replace the item after our budget recovers from the investment loss of the "park bench" couch, protective cover we purchased, mattress and quilted mattress cover purchased to compensate for the deficiencies of this unfortunate investment. I am so happy with our couch! All the boxes arrived at the same time. I love the beige color and appearance wise looks great with my living room. The couch itself is stiff but that is normal with a brand new couch and needs to be broken into (a lot of the reviews complain about it). If it was soft, then I would be concerned. I like the medium firmness of this couch personally. My fiance built this couch which took him an hour to do so. He used a power drill which helped speed the process along. When fitting the end pieces, he used his drill to hmer it in place. No missing parts thankfully, but one if the ends of the couch is lifted up (maybe we have unleveled floors?). For a $400 couch, I can't complain about anything. This couch fits 3 people comfortably, 4 if you guys are close to one another. I love it and I am happy we chose this couch! This sofa bed is a perfect addition to our home, considering we needed an extra bed for guests. Assembly was super easy and it is not very heavy. the compartment storage is super nice and the sofa bed extension is awesome. The thing about this that I didn't realize is how I would like to use it. This isn't the jump-into-the-couch type of comfort. There's very minimal padding and you can feel the wood. You will need to behave and sit down properly like an adult. I'll probably buy some padding or cushions to account for the missing comfort. I won't give it 4 stars since it has the two key features I was looking for (bed and storage), I just paid for those and cheaped out on the comfort. It's a 'you get what you pay for' deal and I will learn from this...don't buy anything you want to relax in until you've tried it. ... show more
