I really like this rack because of its simplicity and its rigidity in holding my bike. I bought a brand new car and didn't want to scratch the paint so that is the main reason for buying. I have a fairly light ebike that I have been using and with the battery removed it makes it as light as most mountain bicycles. Has held up really well and is very straightforward using. Just a little work loading sometimes. Just be patient and their isn't a problem. I feel very confident with the way I tie everything up this is a very secure rack. I didn't want to pay almost as much for a carrier as I did for my bike. Found this product for a reasonable price. Have been very happy with it so far. My bike hardly moves when straps are on. Easy to get bike on and off rack. Also, easy to attach and detach from my truck hitch.

This rack is solidly built and easy to load. The only downside is that it doesn’t tilt down making it impossible to access the tailgate when it’s loaded which is inconvenient when I have the kids car seats in the back and can’t drop the seats. I would still buy it again because I feel like it is a great value. ... show more

Update 10/22/2023: Forgot to mention that it's compatible with both 2" and 1 1/4" hitches. Attached pic of my Tacoma with 2" hitch and Corolla with 1 1/4" hitch. No wobbles, fits perfectly on both! This is a great bike rack! A friend recommended Hollywood racks, so I looked into this model. It's SO much easier to mount bikes that have different frame types than my previous rack. This rack has a threaded pin, so no hitch stabilizer needed. Also, this rack design straps the wheels down securely, so no velcro needed to stop the wheels from spinning. Love the quality and ease of setting up and using. Makes it SO easy when I can get 2 bikes on and off in less than a minute. My old rack was such a pain that thought went into... Do I really want to do this? This rack... I'm riding WAY more often. I don't do reviews but this... yeah, its THAT good.

Better than I expected; easy to assemble even without looking at the instructions, after readjusting and tightening the bolt to the hitch receiver it’s really stable and sturdy. Initial quality looks good (note: I haven’t transported the bike yet), material looks 7/10 which is pretty good for the price range on this, BUT in my case having installed this on a 3rd gen Tacoma, when you open the tailgate it hits the rack; the rack been open of course to be able to open the tailgate, it falls short by like 3mm more o less and because of this, dented the tailgate, the angle on the main base should lower to avoid this, unlike the other vehicles this might deemed the use of the tailgate useless, and therefore void the purpose of using a hitch rack, since I might as well just throw the bike on the bed and save me the time, money and hassle and also keep on using the bed through the tailgate. ... show more

I have a 2018 giant Trance 2, medium frame and 27.5 wheels, it's almost too big for the bike rack but it fits regardless and the bike rack is amazing and super easy to set up. Just beware if you have a large/XL frame it may not fit on the rack.

We tried a couple different bike racks and this one beats them all. We are getting older and my bride of many years now has a step-through bike. This is the only bike rack we found that will carry her bike. this sets up in minutes, folds small and I hang it on my garage wall when not in use. The bikes are held well and that gives me confidence that they won't fall off in transit.
