I've only had the heater for a few days but it is keeping the temperature at a steady temp in my 30 gallon tank. The temperatures on the heater are not accurate but it does help me to know which direction to turn the knob and it is only off by about 4 degrees. I'm very pleased with it so far.

I’m giving this fish tank heater 4 stars because it works really well in my 45‑gallon tank. It heats the water evenly and keeps the temperature nice and warm without any issues. It also looks good in the tank and doesn’t take up much space, which I appreciate. Setup was simple and quick, and it’s been easy to use ever since. Had for a while now and has always kept my tank at the temp I want it at. It seems very durable and is not hot to the touch for safety of fish. It is pretty compact and was easy to install. It automatically turns on and off when needed which is very nice.

I know that I don't follow other warnings. Sometimes when I read what other people write about there experience was with products. But I'm telling you now, don't do it! This product if you love your fish! This heater only lasted 2 months and then stopped. I almost lost my beloved fish, George:( But thank goodness I caught it in time and saved him.
