I purchased these rocks to replace the rocks that came with my firepit. Those rocks were awful, they broke and shattered, cut me, and left alot of glass dust. These are the opposite. They are a lot more durable and resistant to breaking than the other rocks I had. A few have broken, but maybe 2 or 3. One thing that I haven't been able to figure out is how to prevent the burning, but I bet I could wash these one off and return the shine. I like how smooth they are and how much safer it is to move the rocks around with your bare hands without worrying about mini glass shards sticking into your hand. Mine was the perfect amount for my forepit so I only had to use one bag. Oh, I love the Color option I ordered. Great value for the money. I would order again and o recommend these again

The insurance company required us to cut down a majestic tree in our yard. It was the biggest and healthiest one that we had. To honor it, I wanted to do something special with the stump. I decided to make a solar light out of it to mark our pathway. The glass beads were the perfect amount of sparkle. They have held up nicely in our harsh sun.

Update: The fire glass beads were hazy after the first use but have cleared since. They look awesome and are exactly what I wanted. Even a few bucks cheaper! These fire glass beads looked as pretty as my previous purchases initially but turned opaque/hazy after one use. The haze seems to wipe off a little bit I am not going to go through them and wipe them all off after every use. The fire stones I have purchased in the past did not turn hazy. They are still pretty enough when the fire is going- but I feel a little ripped off because I know that there are ones that don't get hazy. I wish I hadn't cheaped out and wanted to pay $6 less. I am not a materials scientist... But it seems to me whatever coating is on these beads is subpar. Spend the extra $6.

Our new gas fire pit didn’t come with enough glass beads so these seemed the best for the price. Prices vary widely and these work great - added them to our original beads. They give off a nice gloss with the fire

We used this product to re-stock our outdoor gas fireplace table since many of our glass stones had cracked. These were perfect and an exact match. Fireplace table looks so much nicer with new glass stones in it. Would recommend this product.
