This heater is quite impressive to look at. Although, I did not realize the height of this model. It is definitely too tall to store under our eaves or our gazebo. We have concerns about the inclement weather tipping it over and shattering the glass. The patio heater was delivered in really bad shape. I took pictures of the beaten, ripped, and torn box in case there were any issues with broken or bent pieces. Luckily, it was securely packed and all pieces were intact. Although it was missing the two wheel assemblies. I called the 800 number and was directed to a website to report the missing pieces. The directions indicate 90 minute assembly time.... no way. This is very inaccurate. It took me hours!! Most of the large pieces had protective coverings on them. These all needed to be removed before assemblying. In several cases, the protective seal left a sticky residue which I had to remove with Goo Gone then was each piece. Some of the directions were not specific enough or the terminology wasn't in sync with the directions. Eg: In the first step they mention attaching the "hood" to the plate. Product list does not have a hood listed. Labeling parts with the letters A,B,C..etc from the package contents would be helpful. Fortunately, the pieces fit exactly: holes were perfectly set. We may have to sell this heater to a restaurant because it may be too tall to keep on our deck. Yet I hate to give it up because it looks so awesome.

This is a knockoff of the Lava Heat G1. Came with warning the glass will shatter if water comes in contact with it while it is one. The Lava Heat comes with weather resistant Borosilicate glass. The instructions are absolutely horrible!!! Fit and finish isn't all that great! Not really weather resistant and might not hold up to the weather too well. But it is cheap and I can get two for the price I pay for the Lava Heat G1, or 6 for the G2. I had my plumber show me how to supercharge the unit and now the flame goes all the way to the top and gives off much more heat. For those that say it doesn't give off much heat, you have to wait until the top glows red. or you can supercharge it, it isn't all that hard to do. I will try to create a video on how to do this as there are no instructions.

All is good with the heaters. The only issue is the instructions .... they were bad at best. I bought 2 heaters, first one took 3 hours to put together, second one took 1 hour. The glass tube is thick and in one piece, others have 2 piece tubes. Very pleased. Heating is not a good as the heaters with large covers on them, but good heat and a great look. Look and overall function far exceeds the "other heaters".

The instructions for this item are probably the worse instructions I have ever seen. I wound up taking a couple of things apart and putting them back together the right way after following the instructions and accompanied pictures (which are bad also). The unit also does not have stainless hardware for the top flame arrester located on the top of the unit top, the rest of the hardware is stainless though. Some pieces are sharp so be careful during assembly. Plan at least an hour and a half or more to assemble.The unit when finally assembled is quite nice though. Buy the cover for this unit, it should not be left out in the rain without being covered. After using this for just 3 days I found that it just looks good but performs badly. It puts out very little heat and just gobbles up propane. It used up a 20lb tank of propane in just 2 hours.

well i have to say the quality of this product exceeded my expectations. Well packaged and assembled easily . You need about 2-3 hours to assemble the hardest part was taking off the protective plastic from the side panels on the base. make sure you follow the instructions . This product doesn't put out much heat at all. I purchased for the bling!! .Looks great and will add lots of ambiance to your yard so keep that in mind.
