I just recently moved into a new condo and was in the market for, among many other things, a new shower head. I tried out the existing shower head at the new place just to check the water pressure which I thought was decent. I was ready to spend up to $30 for a shower head I mainly wanted just to be powerful and high pressure. I wasn't looking for anything extravagant, and I certainly didn't want a cheap, low budget one; I guess I wanted my porridge just right on this one because I was excited for my new place. I had a good set up at my last place, but the shower head was an older style and was very worn, so I opted to by a new one. I shopped around at the local big box stores (i.e., Lowes, Home Depot, Orchard Supply Hardware, Walmart, etc), thinking surely they would have an abundance of shower heads to choose from. I found A LOT of extravagence and more low budget than I thought I'd encounter, but nothing really in the middle like I was looking for, and nothing that really gave me confidence that I would get the high pressure/power I wanted. I ended up settling for a $25 shower head from one of the stores. I got it home and installed it and to my surprise the pressure was very low. I even tried taking out the flow restrictor and it made little difference. I was scared at this point that it had everything to do with the water pressure of the new place I'd moved into, which was extremely frustrating to me because an efficient shower routine is an important part of my life. I simply don't have time for slow water. The reason I was hesitant to purchase a shower head online is because I didn't want to wait for the shipping and really didn't want it not to work out and have to ship it back. Not to be deterred at this point, I turned to Amazon and stuck with four solid search terms "high pressure shower head." One of the first options displayed, and honestly the one that caught my eye the most was the Aqua Elegante 3 Inch High Pressure Shower Head. I clicked on it because it was really everything I was looking for, it appeared to be a simple, low tech shower head for about $20.00 that promised powerful high pressure. I was convinced at that point to buy it and try it, and then i noticed it had 544 customer reviews, with a 5 star rating displayed. This intrigued me further. I began reading the reviews and was overjoyed to read how, among other features of this shower head, people were raving about how high pressure and powerful it was. I bought it in that same sitting, and am so glad I did. This is truly the best shower head I have ever owned. I've owned it for about 5 days now and have had 5 of the best showers of my life. One of the reviews I read stated that the shower head is so powerful, it cut their shower time in half. It's true, and my shower routine has never been more efficient thanks to my new shower head. If you're thinking that you have low water pressure at your place, this shower head will most assuredly cure that. The shower head even come with teflon sealant tape for the pipe, which I thought was a classy touch. These sellers really have it together and they are at the top of my buy from list. Pressure is surprisingly strong. The shower head is rugged and looks okay even though not made of metal, except for the brass coupling at the top. I'd buy more if I needed them.

So, I purchased two more (separate orders, since one had discount), to install in the upstairs bathroom, to replace the two shower heads that barely produced a drizzle of water. I was looking for something with more pressure but not so much water flow that my hot water tank is empty in 10 minutes and this was it. It does use quite a bit of water, hot water is gone in about 20 minutes but hey, it doubled our time. The pressure is medium-better than the one we had one but not as great as the major drainer. My old showerhead was a 1.75 GPM fixture. It was driving me crazy with its weak and spotty flow of water. The calcium deposits which accumulated over a few years had degraded its effectiveness. In short, taking a shower was not fun. Fortunately, I found the Aqua Elegante High Pressure Showerhead in my search for a new showerhead. It's well constructed. Easy to install. Has great range of motion. And most importantly, it provides a strong, steady, consistent flow of water, at a rate of 2.5 GPM. Needless to say, taking a shower is fun again. WOW !!!! This little shower head may work just TOO GOOD !!!! I have had my current shower head over 10 years (I clean it regularly), but it was getting to be many years old & the silicone holes on the bottom were starting to get dark/crusty looking, but the water pressure in it was too good to replace. So I have been reading so many reviews of shower heads (starting to get a headache reading so many reviews), and this one caught my eye. I liked the water output it claimed to deliver, I liked the simplicity of the design, and the price was great as well, so I thought I will try it & keep my other in case this does not work out. WOW !!! WOW !!! Wow !!! Easy to install since only one shower head & not the dual shower heads, which I had for many years & rarely used the 2nd shower head, but man, Wow !!!!! Man on Man, MA, it comes out fast !!!!!! For such a small shower head, I was amazed !!!! I ACTUALLY RAN OUT OF HOT WATER !!!! I took out the water restrictor, I kept the water screen/black gasket inside the arm, and I can tell I really needed to replace my old one, you can tell the difference it makes in how your hair feels !!!!!! I have very curly hair & I NEED a good shower head with lots of pressure to get the shampoo & conditioner out of my hair & this little gem of a shower head did NOT disappoint !!! Wow !!! Wow!!! High pressure is an understatement! This shower head is truly amazing. The pressure and volume are matched perfectly. When used on 'Hot" it turns my shower into a steam room and most days I have to force myself to turn it off. I will be buying a few more!
