I also really appreciate the rack also being stainless instead of some sort of nonstick that will wear out in a few years. I really love this new roaster! My husband and I cooked our first (12 lbs) turkey in it. The bird fit just right and cooked perfectly. The wider rack grills make cleaning a lot easier and the shape and size of it allows the warm oven air to easily get underneath the turkey. The stainless steel material is nice and thick. The bottom of the pan has an aluminum core, completely encased in stainless steel, allowing for more even cooking. Loved the product so much I have 4 two small & two large. They work so well, I cook with them on top of the stove for large portions, I just use two burners and then i put them straight in the oven.

After doing a lot of research, this pan sounded great. I used it for a simple roast. Roast came out good; not anything outstanding. My disappointment came when I tried to clean it. I could not get the water marks or food stains out regardless of the cleaning product I tried to use. The pan also scratched very easily. Great roaster, nice sturdy rack AND it works on an induction range. Much to my surprise, I discovered a few days before Thanksgiving that my AllClad stainless steel roaster didn’t work on my new Wolf induction range. I have other Hestan cookware and was glad to see it was available for fast shipping through Amazon. It’s heavy duty and well made. I know I will have it for a long time! There was a bit of discoloration on the inside after the first cook that I did over Thanksgiving, but since it will be full of whatever you are cooking no one will see that AND it certainly doesn’t effect how it works. Elegant high quality stainless steel roasting pan with a very nice handles, i liked the tiny slopes inside the inner surface, so all the excess oil will be trapped at the sides.

Received 1/5/22. Well packaged. The pan is heavy duty triple-ply stainless and aluminum. The roasting rack sits up high to hold food out of any drippings. I especially like to rack's handles which oppose the handles of the pan, which allows for safer removal of hot items.
