The extremely versatile Classic Aeron Chair has a lumbar support that can be adjusted to fit the contours of your body. The pad can be set vertically through a 4 1/2-inch height range supporting the natural curve of your midback, or lumbar region. The lumbar support pad can be positioned with a thinner or thicker side facing you to vary the level of support provided. The Classic Aeron Lumbar Pad increases the comfort of the chair for those who like to recline as they sit. To find the size of an Classic Aeron Chair, stand behind the chair and feel for the raised dots under the top edge of the back frame. One dot is Small size, two dots in a row is Medium size, three dots in a triangle is Large size. I've had this thing for a while now... Thing sucks. Always pops out of the back as it slides up the rails. Seems like a bad design overall. I've added on large clips on the ends to try and minimize it but it's a daily occurrence now. At this rate I'll be checking out the glue gun. This thing delivers a deep massage. You can adjust it and simply move it around easily. I would not recommend this model for fragile or smaller folks. It is a hard massage with a lot of pressure, and hard balls pushing in to your neck. I really prefer a deep tissue massage, so it is perfect for me.

Product came unwrapped in a Herman Miller box with no product literature or info. One side of box has office logix tape over original box tape which makes me suspect it’s been opened and potentially repacked. I can’t be certain it’s an OEM part, fits fine so not worth the hassle to return, will update if issues arise. ... show more

Does not come in branded packaging. Just a clear plastic bag with the sellers paper insert. It looks and feels identical to the outgoing part. Will report if there are any issues.

The Aeron chair is the greatest office chair ever made. Unfortunately, the lumbar pad is poorly made and breaks every 2-3 years or so. Still, the chair is worth it. I work at home and am stuck in the chair all day and the Aeron is really comfortable. You can buy them cheaper than anywhere at designerseating.com. But you can buy your lumbar pad replacement from these guys. Good price and good service getting it to you. ... show more

I installed the replacment on 12/18/22. It was the first time I replaced the lumbar pad on my 20 year old Aeron. Looks like it's starting to rip on one side after 3 months of light usage of about 18 hours/week. I'm going to reach out to the seller to see if it's covered under warranty since my Prime window to return is closed. :( ... show more
