The baby chicks moved from towels to this hemp. They immediately loved it. They have had no respiratory issues or stomach issues. They used it to dust & to nap in. It does have some dust but not sneeze inducing like straw. The girls are just 5 weeks & slowly transitioning by visiting there outdoor coop daily. I plan on continuing to use hemp but I sure wish this weed was a bit less expensive.
