I purchased these Black Fly Larvae product this past November 2023 for my 6 Americana Chickens and Rooster. My daughter has 4 Pet Chicken she loves like if they were her children. She tries to buy only the best for them and also spends a lot of time with them during the day. She always tries to give them extra nourishing snacks in addition to their regular Chicken food.     • Bluebirds refused to eat
I thought I'd try feeding these soldier fly larva to the bluebirds instead of mealworms, but the bluebirds in my area a picky - they only want mealworms. I assume chickens would eat the soldier fly larva, but don't buy if you are considering feeding to bluebirds. Stick to mealworms. And unfortunately I could not return them.
