I bought this product for a few reasons: to help the chicken coup smell better, a little something for them to snack on, help relax the hens (if they are into smells like people), and to help with pests and flies. I was a little worried that it would be a waste of money, but tried it anyway. I have been so pleased!! The smell is amazing and does last quite a few days. The flies seem to be around less and the girls did start laying more after I started using it. Plus, 1 pound goes a long way - I use a handful each week (my toddler son helps so sometimes it is a lot more). I am getting ready to order my second bag and it has been over eight months since my first purchase! I will definitely be using these as long as I have hens!! ... show more
