It looks classy and is the perfect size in our great room and provides the circulation you want to have without the noise, as it's really quiet. We have a 20' ceiling where the fan was placed, but as always, you must read the instructions to do it correctly, which wasn't too difficult to install. We got the fan without a light as it wasn't necessary. It's also made of wood and very sturdy. I run it at the highest speed witch is 6, but it doesn't create winds blowing things around, it feels just right as opposed to other fans in my bedroom and office that have more velocity. I think you will find this fan will do the job and if you have a lower ceiling you'll definitely feel the breeze more. As I said, so far the fan is doing a fine job. ... show more

I bought three of these fans on sale for about $150 which was a great price. I saw similar ones for twice the price. We use these outside on a patio in a salt environment. I will revise if I start seeing rust. PROS: Installation was fairly easy and I have installed many fans in my life. Most of the assembly is actually done on the ground and the assembled fan is then lifted and set into place. Not as heavy as it looks. There are six spin settings and most of them are very quiet and produce a good amount of wind to help move mosquitoes along. They come with a remote control that was easy to wire and start using. The quality of the materials is good all around. The blades are real wood. After installing 3 fans, none of them needed to be balanced. Well made. Electrical connections were easy to understand and implement. Friends and family really like the look of the new fans. CONS: With multiple fans we have multiple remotes. I do not see a way to turn them all on or all off with one remote. There is a button for "all off" but it only turns off one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have only had these fans 2 weeks and gave 4 stars because of the cons listed below. I would give 4.5 if I could. Hope the fan last for 10 years or more. I would however buy again. Pros: Extrememly quiet ; good air movement; 6 speeds; well machined parts make them easy to assemble; my 3 are hard wired and they keep the speed set by the remote; they spin true except one of them has a very slight wobble; packaging was very good; Instructions were excellent! Cons: satin finish on the blades is pretty but had a few imperfections and I hope the finish is durable but dose not look particularly durable; easy to assemble and hang but difficult to connect wiring due to the remote receiver; I wish it came with an 18” down rod for my 11’ porch ceiling. ... show more

Received a ceiling fan which unfortunately didn’t turn on but customer service sent out a replacement immediately. Installed the new one and it works flawlessly. Love this fan. Bought 2 others that were similar but this one is 100% better. Took a bit of time to wire up, but recommend getting the blades connected before connecting to the ceiling mount (a bit tricky lining up the bolts to the fan). But blades are solid wood and gorgeous in the walnut finish. Also you can turn fan on and off from the switch w/o the remote. Great for accidental switch flip. Works great in either direction (F/R) and gets lots of compliments. ... show more
