This lock makes life so much easier! The fingerprint opens fast, and the keypad is great for my kids when they forget the key. I like that it also connects to the app, so I can unlock it anytime. Really loved this product, than one day the battery died completely even though the app said it was still at 60%. Good thing there's a key for it as well, and I was able to use it when it supposedly dies. Than 9 straight months of great use till one day neither the fingerprint, the Bluetooth unlock, or code would not work. This time key was inside the room. Imagine getting locked out because the product you use is unreliable. This is what this is.

Let's start with the good. Fingerprint reading is accurate and fast. Unlocking is also very quick . Automatic locking times are adjustable. You can manage a rental property remotely with this pretty easily if used with a BLE hub. Now for the bad. Network connectivity to the hub is horrible. Sitting about 5 ft away from the hub. I might get a successful read one out of 10 times. This is ridiculously annoying. Another drawback is within the app. In order for me to create a guest account, I need to tie it to an email address and a user needs to download the app and create an account. Why the heck is this needed if all I wanted to do was to create a temporary passcode for a temporary tenant. It's completely unnecessary. Other smart door knobs do not have such a requirement. Once this is set up, the door knob works great. However, if you plan on working with this remotely, make sure you're connectivity is spot on otherwise you are in for some frustration. To the makers of this doorknob use the app of other competitors and take some notes regarding usability.

Installation was easy and straightforward. Lock pretty much works as described. Quality seems good. The only issue I have is you have to be within 3’ to 4’ of lock for app to connect. Would be nice to be able to lock or unlock from anywhere in home. Also app always shows lock battery fully charged although mine went completely dead. The model I received has a rechargeable battery instead of replaceable batteries as described.
