    • Easy to assemble and use. Explainer video is way wrong about how to use it.

It will definitely lift a full size riding mower. Easy to assemble. The video that shows how to use it does not match the instructions. The video shows lifting in the middle, under the mowing deck, NOT under the tires. I feel like lifting the mower by the deck is terrible idea. Put the lift under the tires and make sure the parking brake is set (if you have that feature). I would not get under any part of the mower when it’s lifted. It’s just not stable enough to take that risk. I use it to change the blades primarily. I can reach in and do that from the sides, when it’s elevated. No need to put any other body parts under the mower. It folds down and stores flat, taking up minimal space. The product may be good but the set up directions are terrible. When you are lifting the weight of a lawn mower the directions should show a clearer picture of what the assembled part should look like. It was left here with the box torn so now I don't know if I have all the parts I'd not as there is nothing showing me a parts list. I don't know if the screw part is assembled right or not. ... show more

My hubs asked for this as he has issues getting under the rider mower with age and and new knee. Based on reviews I felt that this model was a better choice than some others here, although more money, the strength of the metal parts was more which is why I chose this one over his preference of the cheapest one. His review is thus: Glad I got the stronger one, his small Cub Cadet is about all it can take for weight. Made cleaning the under housing and the sharpening the blade much easier and made his new knee very happy. It was easy to put together, and it stable for the unit he has, although he did say he did not think it would take much more weight safely. The instructions are not very clear and the pictures were blurry. Took me a few to figure it out... even so, I've got an extra nut bolt and screw.

This thing is practically useless. When jacked up you can only clean or service the blade on the raised side. Plus, the construction is so bad it's scary. The welds look like something a young kid might do the first time trying to weld and I would never put any important part of my body under it while raised. On the lighter side, the instructions were a hoot. Chinese translated to English was the funniest bunch of gibberish I have ever seen and totally useless. But, ya get what ya pay for! ... show more
