This is a nice, basic garden hose. Its outer layer is kind of rubbery as opposed to other hose styles have what feels like a hard plastic outer layer. Those hoses can be more difficult to wind up because they get stiff if they aren’t warm enough. Rubbery hoses like this one are more forgiving because they’re naturally more flexible. The female connector has a nice hand grip that can be used for unscrewing it. That’s useful because I’ve had hose connectors get stuck before and they can be difficult to unscrew if you don’t have a good grip. The finish around the metal connectors isn’t the nicest and I noticed rough edges on both ends. I tested it and this didn’t cause any issue with connecting it. It came with 3 extra rubber washers which was a nice bonus. Overall this is a good garden hose.

I'm really liking this hose. It is a different "finish" than I'm used to as it feels a bit like rubber. (I usually use either the green coated ones or the nylon style. This definitely feels much sturdier than those do. I've had hoses burst in the past and I don't imagine this one doing that. The ends are great because they have a sort of sleeve that slides on it and it gives you a nice handhold to screw the end onto the spigot. These end types are always nice to have and, in my experience, I get much less leakage around the spigot when I turn the water on. Overall, it seems to be a very high quality hose. I'll update if I find out different down the road.

Garden hoses are something I can't seem to do without. From washing down walks and driveways to car washing to all sorts of other needs, having the right hose at the right spot can be very helpful. OK, so, this one, at 25 feet, won't reach the street in front of most houses. And, might not even reach around a good-sized car. But, for use in rinsing off muddy shoes or as a leader hose to reduce wear and tear on the high-dollar, rubber, commercial hose, it can work out well. This one arrived overnight. Which matched the delivery date 'forecast.' I really like this one's flexibility. And, it's brass fittings. The hard-plastic sleeves at each end may have to go, however. YMMV. The openings in the fittings (0.48") could be larger but are probably adequate.

I really liked this garden hose for it's heavy weight connections and double wall design. I would hesitate drinking from it as it advertises since the hose has a strong rubber smell that had me putting it in the garage as soon as I opened the package. Since you really shouldn't be drinking from garden hoses, I won't take off any stars but it's something to consider. Overall if you're looking for a UV resistant hose that's going to be outside 24/7 this is a great option.

We needed a hose to do a water run to our son’s mud kitchen and this was the perfect length. It arrived next day and is great for a flat run along the fence to get to his play area. The Florida sun is hard on hoses but this one feels very sturdy and I anticipate will last a good while.

This is a good hose. It is difficult to kink and the hose itself seems to be well made. It feels heavy-duty. I have used it in warm and moderately cold weather and it remains flexible in the cold. The ends are not made of brass, however. They seem to be made of anodized aluminum. Regardless, I would purchase it again in the future.

There are few things more irritating than cheap garden hoses. We have all tried them and learned the hard way how frustrating they can be. I am happy to report that this one is one of the good ones, and is actually a pretty great price too. It's heavy duty compared to most other hoses, and the inclusion of extra gaskets is a nice touch for sure. Definitely recommend if you need a shorter garden hose.
