I am a middle aged, petite woman (5'1") with small hands, and I really appreciate that Head is one of the rare companies that sell paddles with a small grip size (under 4" circumference). I had gotten the Head Extreme Tour Lite paddle as a gift about 5 months ago, and I absolutely love that paddle, as it is so light and easy to use for hours at a time with no arm fatigue. After a few months of using that paddle, I did start to wonder if it had enough power in some situations (like when I am playing in windy conditions), so I ordered this paddle as my "power paddle." The colors on the paddle face are extremely bright, and lots of people have commented on how much it stands out in the crowd. The surface has a decent amount of grit. The paddle has a nice balance between power and control and helps generate a decent amount of spin on all shots, even those where I'm not deliberately trying to add spin. I think this is a good paddle for someone who is looking for a mid-weight do-everything paddle that doesn't break the bank. At my local pickleball club I've borrowed demo paddles from other big name brands (Joola, CRBN, Selkirk, Holbrook, Paddletek, etc. - most of which retail at least double the price of this paddle) and I really think Head provides a terrific value. I still prefer the Head Extreme Tour Lite to this paddle because it really is the perfect paddle for my personal needs and style of play, but as I've rotated in this paddle into my game play over the past several weeks it has really been growing on me.
