This has even heat distribution. Lid Seals well; meats come out quite moist. I wouldn't QUITE call the interior "non-stick" however. But 10 minutes of soaking before washing does the trick, so would still classify this as easy to clean. Am not 'taking off any stars' because of its weight--never did understand why people complain about a CAST IRON pan being HEAVY....DUH..... this does however fall short of my STAUB brand dutch ovens in how its knob and handles do not stay cool, as they do in the French cocottes. While some may disagree, for me this isn't that big of a hardship. Especially given how the price of this is literally TEN times LESS than comparable 5+ quart size of both Staub and Le Creuset cocottes. Am pleased with the richness of the color as well. I wouldn't hesitate gifting one or getting another for myself in a smaller size "just for fun".

For the price, this is a really solid dutch oven. It heats evenly, retains moisture well, and does a great job keeping liquids in when cooking stews or bread. After one use, I did notice a small chip on the handle, which was a little disappointing, but it has not affected performance at all. The interior enamel is holding up well so far and still looks great. Overall, it feels like good value despite the minor cosmetic flaw.

I have never had a cast-iron pan before or Dutch oven and I love this. I make my artisan bread in this. Also, I’ll be making a whole chicken in it. Easy to clean and the color is very pretty also.

The first dutch oven I received was damaged so I returned it for a replacement. I get the replacement & it's clearly an open box item! Opened box products sell for deep discounts. When I purchase a product as "NEW" I expect it to be new!
