I wish it would have been more than 2 ft in width. But this was my first purchase of a hutch for my rabbitt not a poor reflection of the product. Looks great! I wish it would've shipped faster. :( I was so excited and I had to wait almost 2 weeks!

The wood is thin and brittle, the back panel was split. Didn't put it together till recently, too late to complain. Definitely not worth the money. Keep looking.

This coop is only large enough for 2-3 full grown chickens. The instructions were easy enough to follow, however, it didn’t illustrate how to attach the roof. I did have to take the nesting box/ hut apart and rebuild because I put it on backwards from the run as it was difficult to determine the stamped lettering on the pieces and the pictures were clear on which direction to put them together. Also, I don’t recommend using the screws that the coop comes with, they’re way too small and if I had used them I would question the structural integrity of the coop. The wood is very soft and thin so you will need to seal it to withstand outdoor elements. I had re-staple a large amount of the mesh wire back to the frame. I added my own lock to the nesting box roof and top of the run as the coop did not come with a way to secure either of those opening areas. The window on the door of the hut doesn’t have any mesh on it, I had to add some myself, as the openings are large enough for a raccoon or cat to reach into it. The removable tray is too tight to take back out after building, so that’s a permanent fixture now. I honestly can’t see my family using this product for a long period of time, I image after two years or so it will be unusable. With all the additions I had to do to this coop, I don’t think I’d recommend it to a beginner chicken keeper. ... show more

Not as big as I thought but hey the dimensions are given so using a tape measure to check is one way to predetermine that so not a seller issue, a buyer issue. String smell but it airs out if outside. Easy to assemble and this from a 66 year old disabled woman who cannot drive a screw to save my life, but I did it so anyone can. The rabbit hutch makers need to start considering adding a wire bottom above the pull out trays, no one wants their rabbit walking in their own waste and I am concerned about the metal slide out trays as to if they could heat up so much outside to burn the rabbits feet so I set mine in a tree covered area for shade and will be checking it tomorrow for heat. I am going to try to add wire screen bottom over the trays to keep rabbits out of their own waste, if possible. The instructions could be improved and why I uploaded a photo of them. They confused my paralyzed son in law who was assisting in directing steps, written out directions would help but I figured it out. We will see how the wood holds up as it is not heavy duty, in fact myself and a 5 year old carried it across the yard to place it after assembling in driveway, it’s light just bulky for one person to carry. The slide out drawers do not latch so a raccoon could pull them out but hopefully coons do not eat rabbits. For that matter they could probably unlatch the three doors. The screws sent to install latches were weird, like a v screw head so they do not set flush with wood and not sure why those types of screws were used, my son in law said they are bad for splitting the wood although I did not have that happen so all is good. Due to the smaller than expected I purchased a totally enclosed cage run that we are going to stake in the ground and wire connect the door opening on it to one of the lower hutch door openings. I have two young lion head rabbits. I feel it’s definitely not big enough but I am doing things to extend their space such as the cage run extensions. There are two doors on the bottom level to extend off of. I will add a photo when done if able. My best advice is to not drive yourself crazy with mixed reviews for months like I have, choose the highest reviewed and know that you will be upgrading yourself unless you have one built to your needs. I finally had to make a decision so I ended up going with best reviews expecting non perfection as months of mixed reviews across the board, there is going to be something you do not like and you are going to have to get creative with what you get. Easy assembly itself was worth a good review, and the enclosed bottom was important for safety against predators as long as they are not smart enough to know it over and slide out the trays, again we are adding wire to bottom stapling it in. ... show more

I just finished putting it together with multiple broken pieces of wood had use some glues and some caulking for them. I think this was a return and shipped out has new also. It's not as sturdy as the description says. I'll use it for now because I need it but I will probably just end up building one instead of buying anything online like this again for now. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I gave it 4 stars because it took a month to get here. My first order went missing so amazon had to send a replacement. But amazon was so great and patient with me.
