A friend of mine had told me about her new sleep routine and after some researching Hatch, I was sold. I have had my Hatch Restore 2 for about a week and WOW, it has been a game-changer. I wake up each morning in a better mood and not so groggy. It's been a great way to wake up and ease your wake up without getting jolted awake by your typical phone alarm. The look of the Restore 2 is sleek and modern. It looks like a fancy speaker. Setting up the device is very easy with the step-by-step directions. It only took a few minutes for it to connect to my wifi. To work the device, you download the Hatch app. You can work the Restore from your phone. It is simple and easy to navigate. It is a very high quality device that is easy to use and navigate. What I LOVE about the Restore 2 is that there are two different modes, rest and rise. You can create a morning and evening routine to help you stay on track. At night, I like to listen to the calming sounds (my fav is campfire) as I read a book to wind down. The cool part of the rise routine is that you set it up like a typical alarm clock. I have an alarm set for weekdays (Mon-Fri) at 6:20 am. Multiple alarms can be set and scheduled for repeating on different days/times. This is super convenient when you are constantly on the move. It's one less thing to think about. The rise feature is my FAVORITE part about Restore 2. It is a combination of light and sound to help wake you up. There are different light settings (think of this like the sunrise) you can choose (I like morning stroll) to wake you up. My favorite sound that is the "alarm" portion is Meditative Flute. It has been the nicest sound I have ever woken up to. Since using my Restore 2, I have seen a difference in how I wake up. The light begins 30 minutes before your alarm, mimicking sunlight coming through. I have already told many of my friends what a great purchase it was! I truly can not recommend it enough. Don't laugh, but I still used my Sony Dream Machine Alarm until last week. I bought it in the late nineties, and it still did the job. It wakes me up every day. However, one of my colleagues introduced me to this beauty, and I'll tell ya: it's the difference between the old rotary phone hanging in your mom's kitchen and a brand new iPhone 15. The Hatch 2 offers a diverse range of soothing sounds, from gentle ocean waves to calming rainforest ambiance. The variety allows users to customize their sleep environment based on personal preferences. The integrated light therapy feature is a nice touch. Users can customize the color and intensity of the light, creating a calming atmosphere conducive to sleep. The gradual dimming option is particularly effective in signaling the body to wind down. Hatch 2 is super smart. The app is intuitive, fun and easy to use. The app allows you to control Hatch 2 and all its functionality. It took me all of 30 seconds to get comfortable with this well designed app. The device looks GREAT on your nightstand, too. It blends into the interior and feels like a part of the room decor. There are no ugly wires, cables or plastic-y feel. It enhances the ambiance. Hatch 2 is not cheap. True, $200 is a lot to pay for an alarm clock, but it's a small price to pay for a good night's sleep. We've all seen Hatch be advertised on Instagram, Facebook and other social media sites. I felt like it could be "too good to be true." However, after I saw it on sale I couldn't resist and decided to purchase it. I love how you can connect it directly from your phone via WiFi; set-up was easy. You can customize multiple alarms with music/sounds and lights. It is so soothing to look at and I love using it at night to wind down. You do NOT need the Hatch membership for an extra $5/month; this product works just fine without it and still gives you the same benefits. The only benefits of a membership is that it gives you more sounds and meditation options; again, not necessary. I truly feel like I wake up more smoothly and don't feel "angry" because I'm not jolted out of a sound sleep. My sleep pattern has been much better and I actually look forward to getting the day moving. The Hatch is a great sunrise alarm clock and I would recommend to family/friends! ... show more

The Hatch Restore 2 is a wonderful product. First off, it’s extremely aesthetically pleasing. The rising sun shape and understated color make it an unassuming but welcome presence on our bedside table. More importantly, the functionality is excellent. Set up was straightforward, easily pairing with our WiFi and the app on my phone. The app allows you to set individualized alarms, including an easy weekday vs. weekend feature. Our primary usage is the sunrise alarm in the morning. You can choose how long you want the whole sunrise process to take—we have found that the half hour setting works well, paired with an oceanside soundscape. The slow change from a deep red light to a warm white is a perfect gentle wake up. This has been so helpful as we enter the darker months—waking up to a warmly lit room has been very pleasant. Overall, I wake up feeling much less groggy and lethargic. Looking forward to this being a morning mainstay for years to come! ... show more
