I needed a container to put my dog's food in (bag and all). I didn't want plastic which seems to dominate this field of product. My 33lb bags fit in there nicely but the lid will not go down all the way until some is used put of it. I would not just pour the food straight in since the lid is more loose fitting and not air tight but it does fit nice and looks very pretty. It has the two handles on the side if you need to lift it and it is easy to clean. I feel that the dog food stay fresher when I have this extra container to store it in and it hides the bags to make it look nicer in the house. ... show more

I absolutely love this goes in the theme in my kitchen. The dog even knows now that when I open this it's time to eat! Thank you for such a cool product. Shipping was kind of questionable was a bit beat up. But it's OK for now.

    • Fits a whole bag of dog food!
We bought this because we have two golden retrievers and we go through a lot of food! We were constantly filling up our storage container of food, and my husband was tired of filling it up every 3-4 days. This now sits perfectly between their two bowls. The large fits a whole 45lb bag of their kibble, which is fantastic. It's sturdy, on the heavier side (but not cumbersome), and looks really cute! However, the lid just sort of rests on top. According to the website, this has some kind of sealing mechanism that allows food to stay fresh and keep the dogs out, but without being airtight and hard to open. So far, the food has stayed fresh, but my initial impression was not a good one. So far, my dogs have not broken into the food (although that's not really their personalities, either), but it feels very loose to me. Luckily we live in a pretty mild weather environment with no bug problem, but I would be even more skeptical if I lived somewhere where small bugs were an issue. Will update in a few months if my thoughts changes! ... show more

For some reason I thought this would be plastic (I didn’t read the whole description) but was pleasantly surprised that it is metal! It was packaged with so much care and looks exactly like the picture. Great quality!

this is very useful for when you have multiple dogs or one large dog. It isn't painful to look at either! It goes great with my farmhouse decor and isn't tacky looking.

    • Not worth the price
This dog bin is cute, but it’s NOT well made and feels very cheap, it is constantly getting misshaped at the top when you carry the container, mine is no longer round, it looks dented and is more of an oval shape now so the lid doesn’t fit great. The lid never fit great so I don’t think freshness quality is there, I’m sure lots of air seeps in all day everyday. Anytime you lift it up it bends and gets misshapen. It’s not worth the money in my opinion, the only this it’s got going for it is its looks. Pretty big bummer. Would’ve likely gone with their plastic white and tan model if I would’ve known how poorly this would’ve been made but I’m not sure that would’ve been any better, just likely sturdier than this one. Pros - it looks nice and even though it’s a thinner type of metal, I don’t mind it. It’s a good size to hold my dog’s food (she’s 40lbs and I always buy the big bags). Cons - It arrived damaged and I opted not to replace it because I think it’ll just continue to happen. They need to put a supporting element INSIDE the container so it doesn’t dent (see pictures). Before I even unwrapped it, I could see it was dented and once I took it out of the plastic wrap, both sides were dented making the lid no longer airtight. Really disappointing because if it didn’t arrived damaged it would be perfect. It’s a bit expensive for what it is so to not even pack it properly is ridiculous. I will find another metal/tin food storage elsewhere. ... show more
