The awning replacement vinyl was exelend folded up so I could lay it up on my next to the awning slide out and pull it right into the awning roller and RV mounted rail, the replacement awning came with 3 strings just like my old vinyl, the whole ordeal took me 2 hours starting with securing awning arms in near closed positoin so i could work from the RV roof and the slide out, I cut and removed the old vinyl removed the vertical frame arms end cap oposit the motor drive end only, added some dishwasher soap in the rails, my Care Free roller assembly are designed with 4 smooth Inlets in the end plastic cover made for mount the vinyl strings/vinyl, see picture, 3 is for the awning vinyl and 1 for mount of eventual vertical sunshade curtain, I slided in/mounted the 3 stringed vinyl all at the same time, there is a sharp edge on my Care Free roller support steel frame that i needed covered with a cloth to smothen it out to avoid damage the vinyl sliding over, it worked great, the vinyl looked great and very nice made, now time will tell if it will hold to the strong Florida heat and sun, but for now I will give this awning replacement 5 stars, and yes I would recommend this product to my best friends! ... show more

This replacement awning fits my 20 year old Sunsetter frame perfectly. The awning appears to be well made and looks very nice. I was able to decide that this awning would fit my Sunsetter after I looked over the question section and saw that others had used it on their Sunsetters .... so I took a chance and it fits/works perfectly. The first picture shows the finished replacement, and 2nd pic shows the original awning being cut off, after I figured the steps I would need to take to replace properly. I am very happy with the quality and looks. Here is the NEGATIVE part: I initially called Shadepro to ask if the awning would work on my Sunsetter... the female call taker immediately became negative and said it was fir RV's and would not answer any of my questions ... she basically was trying to cut me off and ended the phone call. Has I not pursued looking at the product question section, I still would be without. Please note that I was buying an awning cover and they should have been trying to help to make a sale. My purchase (for my non-RV Sunsetter frame) would not of deprived Shadepro of anything. ... show more

The awning is durable and attractive. The included instructions were for a manual awning, so were not useful. I found an instructional video for our exact awning and it was easy to install! My husband and I took the old one off and then a couple neighbors(men, thank goodness)helped put up the new one. I would highly recommend this awning. ... show more

We put this on a 20’ ourselves and it fit perfectly. We are two seniors, so it was easy but really need two young people or three would be best. My husband used a drywall lift as our helper. Probably not the safest but it worked without incident.

    • Worked great except….

This awning was the right size, color and price but I had to remove the led light track that was in the same channel as the awning cord. No worries though, I just removed the light track and used double sided tape to reinstall led light strip. Like new again. Two person job to reinstall awning but not difficult to do if you do some research on how to cage the spring side of the roller tube. ... show more

Definitely takes 2 people and 2 ladders... Read over instructions, but ended up making a couple modifications. Found it easier to thread the spline through the track starting from rear to front of RV. Husband was on roof pulling awning through spline towards front as I fed it from the rear. Then with awning hanging down side of RV,we threaded the spline through the roller. With arms extended we mounted rollers to arms. Ta da ... show more

Nice product, nice material, good color, pretty easy, set up… you should find a video on your exact awning frame to know how to disassemble to put the fabric on… that took a couple hours because we had to try and find videos and information on how to disassemble our particular awning frame…. My husband didn’t complain because we did not get new straps and tabs with ours all we received was the awning material. We have an opened it up and used it as of yet. I will update if there are any issues. ... show more
