Just got my pots. Haven’t used them yet. Bought them because they were anodized steel rather than aluminum and were cheaper than Calphalon my favorite brand. Not sure if I want to return them and just spend the money on calphalon. They seem lighter than steel and the handles are not very well finshed.overall, they look good and like I said a decent set

I have really enjoyed using this pot and pan set on a pretty much daily basis. I love the versatility of being able to use the set on both the stove top and in the oven. The handles attached to the cookware do stay cool while cooking as it says they will, but the handles on the lids do not so just something to keep in mind. I do want to mention as well that it says the pots and pans have a heat limit of 450 degrees in the oven (the lids max at 350 it says), but it also states that they are broiler safe which is more than 450 degrees. I haven't wanted to chance ruining any of the pieces to test whether they can withstand the broiler heat so am not sure whether that info is accurate or not. Overall this cookware set is worth the value so far, I do wish it came with one smaller size pot and pan though to really complete this set!

This has almost everything you need for a starter or smaller apartment kitchen. The pots and pans are all non-stick. They're not very heavy and nowhere as nice as higher end, professional cookware. The handles are easy to grab and hold. The pot and saucepan glass lids are useful to monitor the food, but I do wish that they were designed to fit on the frying pans as well. And it does come with a small silicone spatula (at least in the 10 piece set). For the price and versatility and understanding that this is a basic, starter set, then it's a 5 star product. But don't expect it to perform as well as those that cost 4 times (or more), where a frying pan alone costs as much as this entire set.

This collection of pots and pans have a magnetic surface on the bottom enabling them to work on an induction cook top (see the photo with the magnetic flashlight attached to the pot). I tested this set against a more expensive and well-known brand of pots and pans. Here are the results: We started with two cups of water in the Chef Power 2.5-quart pot and the exact same amount of water in our more expensive 2.5-quart pot. The heating elements were set at the same level and the test started at the exact same time. The Chef Power pot of water was 165 degrees when the other pot began to boil. This is because the Chef Power pots and pans are made mostly of aluminum while the expensive brand is stainless steel, a better conductor of heat. The Chef Power pots and pans are lighter than the expensive brand. The larger Chef Power 12" frying pan was a bit more than 3 ounces lighter than the more expensive brand. It doesn't seem like much, but its 10% which is significant. Other comparisons: there is a big difference in the way the handles are attached to the pots and pans. As expected, the more expensive brand has a more robust attachment which is less likely to have issues in the future (see the two photos for a comparison). Lastly, and this is more of a preference thing, my wife likes the handle on the lids of our more expensive pots because that are higher off the surface of the cover then that of the Chef Power. There is less chance of subjecting fingers to a hot cover. All that said, the Chef Power is a nice set that will work great on any surface (electric, gas, induction). It is a complete set - there is not much else you'll need for cooking on the cooking surface. The only negative is the time it takes to heat up on an induction cook top. I rated it a 4 based based on use on an induction cook top.
