I had seen other products that use steam to clean floors and remove wrinkles, but I never thought about using steam for general household cleaning. I was missing out! This does exactly what you'd expect. It produces a steady stream of pressurized steam that can clean and disinfect all kinds of surfaces. Some materials, like thin plastics, painted surfaces, or unsealed wood, might not be ideal, but there are so many other applications. In the photo attached to my review, you can see my stainless steel range. My wife was cooking and had a spill that got wiped up, at least what was visible. After countless heat cycles, I removed the burners and drip pans, only to find a hideous layer of burnt-on gunk. I tried everything! Mild to heavy-duty degreasers, abrasives like Comet and Bar Keepers Friend, even a drill with a wire brush and nothing worked. Scraping with metal tools helped a little, but it was a slow, frustrating process. Then I tried the steam cleaner with the brass cupped brush attachment. One full tank of water cleaned half of the mess! I just wiped up the loosened grease and water afterward, and that was it. I can’t wait to use this in other areas—bathroom, windows, walls, carpet stains. It’s an incredibly useful tool, and I highly recommend it! ... show more

I purchased it to clean burnt grease stains from my gas stove. I tried many cleaning products, a plastic scraper and scrubbing pansbrushes. But nothing has been able to remove them!!!! Accessories melted during first use! The plastic parts can't handle the supposed 'high heat' steam. Now it smells like burnt chemicals – definitely not safe around kids/pets.

    • Lots of attachments and it makes hot strong jets of steam
I was worried when I got this that there was a chance it wouldn’t work. This looks similar to one my roommate in college got that only made hot water but not steam. I was pleased when this finally warmed up after 5 minutes and made a powerful jet of steam. It took that long to warm up because I put cold water in. Don’t use the hot water from your tap or you run the risk of getting heavy minerals starting to clog it over time. The water in your hot water tank isn’t as clean and clear as the cold faucet. Also distilled water would keep it working longer and stay cleaner inside. It comes with a squeegee attachment that is good for hard flat surfaces and mirrors and it cleans those tough hard to scrub stains in the sink. ... show more

This Handheld Steam Cleaner is amazing! I ordered it mainly to clean and disinfect our bidet, but I'm going to be using it for so much more. I'm so impressed at how this thing steams all the filth right off of surfaces. It made bathroom cleaning much faster and easier, plus literally melts marks off the walls. My husband gets very dirty at work, so we have to clean door knobs, light switches, and commonly touched surfaces constantly. Usually this involves lots of scrubbing with various products, but a quick spray with the steamer and a wipe with a cloth got rid of the marks instantly. I'm so excited to try this on cleaning the oven. The steamer feels high quality and comes with attachments. I think the product listing should include that there are attachments included with the steamer such as various brushes, extensions, a short hose, window attachment with microfiber cloths, etc. It is important to follow the instructions to avoid overfilling the steamer, vent it properly during and after use, as well as to avoid being burned. Great little steamer! I was impressed with all the accessories it comes with. It puts out a lot of steam and has many options for various angles, nylon brushes, a brass brush, and even a squeegee for glass surfaces. I tried it on an old shower where there was a lot of calcium buildup and some mold. Most of the hard water and mold came off. It's not a perfect way to get things totally clean (sometimes an abrasive is necessary), but I appreciate not having to use chemicals. It is very loud, so I use earplugs when using. ... show more
