Can not remove cooking elements to clean under, and 2 months in it shot lighting across the counter and blew fuses. Would not recommend this hard to clean fire hazzard.

first of all, i ordered the stainless steel and received the white and couldn't me more thrilled for the confusion. while i thought the all stainless would be easier to clean and manage, i find the white powder coated steel much easier on the eyes and still easy to clean. there was one minor imperfection in the powder coated finish, and keeping an eye on it moving forward, don't think it will be a big issue. there is a warning sign between the burners that indicates it gets hot when in use, this is very true, but something about the way it's ventilated allows you to fully grip it from the sides without being burned. which is awesome if you need to move it after use and before it's fully cooled down. it also heats up pretty quickly too, and the burners have ample surface area. there are little leg pegs that keep it elevated and again, plenty of ventilation for regulating all that heat. would be awesome to have some sort of home or container for storage, something i didn't think about when ordering. will have to dedicate cabinet space to ensure the burners don't get damaged just shoving it somewhere all willy nilly. ultimately this thing works great, mainly got it as an outdoor stovetop option. mostly for deep frying things, honestly! ha! and cooking outside makes sense in the summer. especially in texas. looking forward to seeing how well this holds up with regular use ... show more

Nothing fancy about this countertop double burner, It will do all what you expect from a cooktop with taking its size into consideration of course. It can be used in a variety of setups and occasions, I got it as a backup and alternative based on my future needs. I was impressed when I first turned it on, it did heated up after only few seconds and the burner turned red, the burners are at the same level and I had no problem using both of them at the same time. The product's description suggests the use of pots and pans with flat bottom and a size not to exceed 5.7", I don't recommend using larger pots or pans, not even those tall thin pots if they were to be filled up with food or liquid since I don't think this cooktop will hold their weight. There are rubber feet to prevent the cook top from slipping but I'd still make sure to secure it very well on the countertop. It is easy to clean and store for sure, it will not require a lot of space for storage, it is portable and light weight. Things I would love for the manufacturer to change or add to this cooktop in the future upgrades: longer power cord and a metal cover attached with hinges in the back. ... show more

We ordered this specifically for deep frying fish. Deep frying causes a real mess in our kitchen with splattering oil - a terrible cleanup job. With this portable burner, we can take it outside hook it up to our sun porch with a short extension cord and deep fry on a small table in the back yard. Way less mess and easy cleanup. Each burner is about 5 1/2" in diameter, which will accommodate a small or medium sized pan. Easy to use, it has a dial for each burner to select the temperature from 0 to 6. The power cord measures 40" long. I believe there is probably some protective coating on the burners when they first ship because there was noticeable smoke for a few seconds coming from the burners, the first time they were used. Using both burners, on high, did not trip my 15A plug. The burners heated up quickly and work very well. It has LED lights that indicate when the burners are on. Arrived open And appeared to be used. However, I still have it a try and it heats up well. Smells of burning plastic at first but it went away after a while. Im not a fan of electric top cooking because it doesn’t cook evenly however this hot plate seems to cook more even than I expected. I like it and use it often for making videos live.
