The doors are really easy to open (mine looks hard because of the floor liner). This cage is so big that it makes my room look small! Don’t tell anyone, but I totally manhandled this thing to the point of flipping the whole cage upside down and scraping it against itself so many times, but it pulled through just fine! The instructions were pretty easy to follow, so much so that I completely stopped following it after a while. Don’t do what I did and have to rebuild it several times because you didn’t look at the pieces you were putting together! CAGE COMPARISON: This cage is great for people on a tight budget like me! I’m a student and it perfectly fits in my bedroom (which is roughly the size of the average college dorm). It has a storage shelf and wheels of which makes it easy for me to roll it around whenever I gotta move a lot at once. This cage comes with (technically) two floors, the bottom floor and the ramp floor. Since nobody’s saying it, this cage cannot be connected vertically nor horizontally with another cage! Only get this cage if you plan on just having a small group of rats at once or if you plan on upgrading in the future (like me!). You could technically make it applicable to connect to another cage if you DIY it out, but most people (me) don’t do that so if you can’t just ignore this part. Most cages only come with one door and or a side door (fly high to the people who bought cages with tiny doors on the front/side) which I PERSONALLY think would make it difficult to clean out the cage. This one comes with 3 doors, the third door on the side of which you can tighten or loosen with the twistie in my review video! This makes it ten times easier to clean out and one million times more versatile than most cages. (To the people who like using wide side doors to clean out their cages instead of the front, you might like this cage!) Small tiny last paragraph for this section, but most cages you can’t change where you want to put the second floor ramp without taking the cage apart then putting it back together. With this one you have the ability to put it anywhere as if you were actually rearranging things like the water bottles. If you can ignore the base indicator for where it recommends you put the ramp floor, go ham decorators! PRICE REVIEW: For a singular cage with 3 doors, two floors, a hammock, and a clothed ramp; I’d say this cage is a steal for its price. Most cages cost more and offer maybe an “extra” cage (most are just longer exteriors without separate-able cages) but are thinner in width and have the tray hidden below bars (which hurt small animal’s feet!). Others tend to also just have 1 or 2 doors (2 as in two cages stacked atop one another and only open one side). Again, to the DIY people out there who want to combine a cage or two, option’s available. Otherwise, for one cage this price is a STEAL!!! BUILDING DIFFICULTY + TIPS: Genuinely look at the instruction manual and pay attention to the double doors and the back piece. Make sure the sides at the top have two circles, the F piece only connects to that side. Make sure, also, that F and M are on the opposite side of one another. I struggled and had to rebuild it only due to this issue because I can’t read or use my eyes correctly (I have 25/20 vision.) OTHER THAN THAT, the building process is fairly easy. It takes upwards to 30-45 minutes if you know what you’re doing. 2 hours if you’re me (I knew what I was doing yet failed the assignment.) DON’T apply too much pressure to the bars, but you can manhandle those as much as you’d like. The metal isn’t completely metal so you could still bend it out of place and have to bend it back if you overdo it. Otherwise, it’s fairly good quality for 120+ dollars. LONG STORY SHORT: Very good product, I love it loads. 3 doors enclosure, can’t combine with another version of this cage to make larger. Cage large in and of itself. Can house 2 ferrets or 3-4 fancy rats (i only know about these animals sorry). Very sturdy, can hold a lot of weight. 10/10 for Beginner cage.

This rabbit cage, while an investment, has proven to be absolutely worth every penny. It's clear that it was designed with both rabbit comfort and owner convenience in mind. Cleaning is a breeze thanks to the removable bottom tray, which makes daily maintenance quick and mess-free. My rabbit loves the multiple areas to sit and explore, giving them plenty of space and enrichment within their home. The added wheels are a game-changer, allowing us to easily move the cage for cleaning, rearranging, or simply giving our bunny a change of scenery. The doors are easy to open, which is a small but significant detail that makes daily interactions much smoother. Plus, it was incredibly easy to assemble, saving us a lot of time and frustration. This cage is a fantastic, high-quality choice for any rabbit owner.

Good cage for the price. Bought this for my three rats, ands its fairly good compared to the more expensive cage that is similar in size and build. I really like that the side opens up, it makes for an easy clean. The assembly was a bit if a pain, the instructions could have been clearer and I had to drill a hole into a spot where there should have already been one. In day to day use the only annoying things is the door latches are difficult to open. Worth it for the price though.

This cage was somewhat easy to put together by self with the instruction paper. But the box had a ding in it which cause the top side of the cage to have a ding or dented in it. other than that I still could put the cage together and it works well it's just that the top of the cage is bent in but not enough for the animal to escape.

For the price point it's amazing. It's a solid cage especially for a small baby rat. The bars themselves are a little bendy, but a rat can't get out nor pull the bars apart. I wish the door opens closes a little easier. It's not perfectly square so you have to work the door closed. But I assure I'm not worried, or concerned in it's ability to close. The wheels are a nice touch. It's a large cage. It had all it's parts and both doors swing out and the side of the cage opens for ease of cleaning. All in all I would recommend this cage if you're unable to get a pricier cage of the same cage.

This cage works fine for my single rat, but if I had to choose a cage again, I wish I had bought a different one. I was on a time crunch with a small budget so I just pulled the trigger on a cheap option, but there are definitely some downsides. Pros: Lightweight and easy to move. I was able to assemble it without help. It's a good size for my rat and the size of the gaps of the bars make escape impossible, even for a little baby rat. The two doors make it easy to get inside and it's easy to wheel around to clean around it, etc. The shelf underneath is nice, I keep all sorts of bins of supplies down there. Cons: The finish on the metal scratches easily, and I worry that when my naughty rat bites the bars, the finish will flake right off and make him sick. I don't care that it's scratched other than it indicates poor quality. The bin on the bottom section and platform have the lowest sides so my rat flings so much bedding through the bars onto the floor; I had to construct barriers to line the cage. It's not really modular (i.e. it's not easy to get another section to expand the cage), so you would have to buy an entirely new larger cage.

I just love this cage and so does Lucy my hedgehog. However I had to remove the second story cause hedgehogs can get hurt if they fall a foot. Make sure your animal isn't a climber. I put up plexiglass all the way around inside about 9 inches up so she can't climb. I love how both doors open wide and I also love the wheels. I put 4 wicker baskets with her supplies below.
