They seem to hold a good amount of weight. I have four blackout double layer curtains on the rod. Packaging was good, one section of rod comes with plastic on it and, it's VERY hard to get a section to peel back to take off. I had to carefully cut it so I could get a grip to peel it off. There was a few minor scratches in it, but you can't see them, so it wasn't a big deal for me. Only big issue is, the screws are super cheap!! We broke a few trying to screw them in. (And we pre drilled holes) I'd recommend going and getting some better screws if you're going to hang some heavy curtains. Other then that, they look beautiful and hold my curtains up.

I'm really impressed with the sturdiness and quality of this curtain rod. I needed an extra long rod for my porch window and the ones available at Walmart were either cheap garbage or way out of my price range. I took a chance with this one since the general overall reviews were decent. I'm glad I purchased this. It's sturdy and looks nice. The ends are heavy metal, not aluminum. The brackets have screws underneath to prevent the rod from sliding around. Great purchase.

I bought 66 to 120 Inches used because it was at a cheaper price. Looks and functions well for my large window in my living room. I got this because of the length providing three bracket mounts, without the middle bracket this would definitely be sagging in the middle. But I think there are some rings missing to keep the polls from moving around when I open/close the curtains. The screwed brackets on the top to keep the polls from sliding around seem to not work too well, but maybe because its used and I used black tape to tape around where the polls meet. The install was quite easy, even with just a screw driver I had at the time. Recommend a drill gun to make it quick and easy. I look forward to buying the 28 inch and the 48 inch when the prices become more affordable, just so all the rods match in my living room. I'd buy again and it looks nice.

Pretty fineals, nice finish, attractive appearance. Well packaged. Decently sturdy. Lousy mounting hardware. You'll want a rod designed for at least 6" wider than your curtains if you wish to block light. If it's merely for decor, make sure you have 4" to spare. Don't expect high quality in any aspect. The fineals are held on with set screws that stick out from the rest of the hardware. The rods aren't well made and the plastic spacer between the outer and inner rods will come loose during installation, making it extra-fiddly to put together. The support brackets which mount to the wall are not really designed to handle more than one anchor apiece. Throw away the garbage anchors and screws which come with the kit and get GOOD ones from your local hardware store, or the rod will seem very flimsy over wide spans.
