I received my bunny hutch three days before it said it would be here, which I’m really happy about. It was nicely packaged inside the box so everything was protected. I do wish the package used paper protection instead of styrofoam, as there isn’t any styrofoam recycling where I live, but nothing was damaged so I’m happy. The hutch is so pretty! The bottom pans are not mesh covered, which is why I got this one. I can now order my own special bottom coverings so my bunny’s feet are not hurt from regular mesh. For now I got some woven grass mats to put in there. He has a blast chomping on the mats and they keep him from slipping around in there. The hutch was pretty simple to put together on my own, did take me a bit though because I’m a dork and I kept having to reread the instructions. The quality is really good and sturdy also! The plastic pans in the bottom are nice and deep, I do wish they had like a dresser type track to run on because they do stick just a bit if I’m not being super careful. But they were built in such a way that will definitely be easy to clean. Before this hutch I had a giant one that I actually built myself but I am hoping to move soon and did not want to lug some monstrosity across the state with me. So getting used to the bit smaller size of this one, it is so pretty to look at so that helps. Overall seems to be a good value for what I paid for it. And I did have to contact customer service for some information. They responded super quick! And were very nice! Highly recommend. Also in case anyone needed to know, the wood in this is “high quality fir” as the customer service rep told me. I will try and add photos later.

This is actually an amazing hutch. Let me begin by sharing that I did not know that prefabricated hutches were available in this complexity before I searched here. Still, the level of attractiveness and convenience is unsurpassed. The hutch arrived in a very heavy box and a handyman helped us to set it up. It took about 90 minutes. We put three cottontail rabbits inside that had previously had issues with overgrooming in a smaller pen. The rabbits immediately took to the hutch. The loft is large enough that three adult rabbits can stay comfortably with private space. The roof panels on the loft swing upward for ease of access and "peeking." The rabbits rapidly understand the ramp. They choose one of the lower segments as their bathroom tray (the same one that is the food tray). I originally thought that chewing would be a problem due to exposed wood slats on the ramp. The rabbits have not chewed this as much as I thought, since other wooden chews were put in the hutch. The tray concept is incredibly convenient for cleaning. I have been able to slide out and hose down the sturdy trays one at a time while closing the rabbits safely into the upper chamber. The easy open lids allow for top access for feeding, cleaning, and play. Overall the unit is incredibly sturdy as well; minus one star, however, because the roof flap for the upper chamber, which was attached to the roof's frame by nailing a shingle to the top of the frame, came detached when the nails passed through the shingle. Now one of the roof flaps simply sits atop the upper chamber, although I don't believe the rabbits could exit in any case because the roof flap is a sturdy, heavy wood panel. Overall I highly recommend this hutch: It's a significant purchase, but the convenience, ease of cleaning, sturdiness and attractiveness justify the expense.

This is a sturdy rabbit hutch, even though it’s cedar the edges are covered in metal to keep small animals from chewing the edges. It was easy to build and all parts were there, they included extra screws as well. The only thing I’m not liking is the trays slide all the way through which will make it easy to clean but my concern is the trays slide easily and I’m hoping when the rabbit runs around in there he won’t inadvertently slide the trays out? I’ll update once my rabbit has moved in.

***Update*** The seller offered a “$20.00 refund” and also some advice to fix it, which was, “a nail gun or epoxy”. Thumbs down to customer service 👎🏻 The casters split the wood when we put them on. Several screws broke when assembling. I would not repurchase. Spend a little extra money for a higher quality one.

This is great for our Holland Lop bunny! She has everything she needs and she can still run around! Loved it so much we got another one for my daughter's dad's house. It has wheels, so it's easy to move around and it didn't take long to put together. It's easy to clean with the drawers that pull out! Great buy and very sturdy!

The pull out drawers do NOT lock in place, easy for a speedy rabbit to kick off and push out leaving a gap to escape. The wire mesh siding is flimsy. I planned to attach the water to the larger area by the ramp but had attached it to the stronger metal door on the top level. I also had some of the wire mesh side damaged right from the box, 4 squares are one lager square. Our corner litter box would not fit on the wire mesh. I'll have to buy some child locks to keep the drawers from sliding out. I appreciate the the design and it being chew proof. For the cost it's not the quality product I was expecting. Assembly does take two and the instructions were easy to follow. It did arrive 7 days early. I would suggest the manufacturer add locks for the drawers to keep from sliding out. This was the best overall chew proof option but needs a few more design improvements.

This is a cute and reasonably sized rabbit cage. However, my rabbit still chews on the wood ridges on the ramps. The drawers are easy to pull out and clean. The door latches for the wood doors are a bit challenging to open and close due to their rotation mechanism. The assembly process is somewhat difficult. The cage is easy to move around and offers a fair price.
