The media could not be loaded. This arrived in 3 days after ordering. So far we are extremely pleased overall. It was fairly easy to assemble with two people. The only slight downfall is our chinchilla- Chilli- loves to go around from shelf to shelf and the wire in this cage isn’t very thick and sturdy. It is for just being a cage but some of the lower quality wooden shelves are too wobbly after attaching so we took them out. It does great with the pumice stone shelves and the better quality shelves that have a better back support to them. So far Chilli is having the time of her life going g from level to level! This makes me happy to see her scurrying around and not seeming stressed out like she was in her small cage. ... show more

Great quality. Got the larger version so my rats have lots of room to romp around. Took my friend and I around 3 hours and lots of creative cursing to put it together but we also didn’t have a powerdrill. One star deducted for set up process being pretty tedious but otherwise happy with the product and my children are already having so much fun with the new spaces. ... show more

The instructions could be a bit better but not to hard to fallow. I love this type of cage more than any other. I have a chinchilla, kids and cats. Kids sometimes forget to close doors. So I feel more at ease knowing my cats can’t reach into the cage with such small holes. Also it is really easy to clean, and the metal strips really do keep the chinchilla’s from chewing on the wood. i have rats and they can chew through the bottom fast and they have. i had 6 of them escape into my house....still trying to catch the last one after being out for over a month

    • Do not buy this cage for chinchillas

I don’t know about other animals but this is basically a house made of treats for chinchillas. They have escaped and I have had to make several repairs to the cage. It looks nice once assembled but immediately goes downhill from there, absorbing every smell into the wood and allowing chinchillas to pretty easily chew through the wire and get out of the cage. This is not a safe product and I am disappointed in its performance since it was so expensive. ... show more
