I read all the reviews and issues people had with putting the rabbit hutch together, the paint, the quality of the wood and so on. I am very happy I did not let those reviews deter me from purchasing this adorable bunny hutch. 1st, I unboxed all the pieces and everything was accounted for. I laid them out in order. The letters are faintly printed on the under edge. Nothing was damaged or in poor condition. For those that say it’s flimsy, it is a lightweight soft wood but I can assure you if put together properly it is very sturdy. 2nd, After reading some of the reviews I decided to purchase wood glue and clear silicone caulk to ensure everything would be sealed tight. I didn’t have to use much of either. Really didn’t need it at all but I thought, it wouldn’t hurt while assembling. I put wood glue in the holes before inserting the dowel pegs and I caulked where the wood meets up on the bottom and sides (on the inside). Basically, as if I were caulking new trim work. If those that say it leaks are correct, I’m hoping I addressed that problem before it arises. 3rd, I did take my time with each step to ensure no boards split and to ensure everything was screwed in properly. All screws and siding aligned perfectly. A view notes for items in the hutch. We have a larger stainless steel litter box and it’s a tad bit big in the lower area and does not fit upstairs. The ramp is a little steep for small bunnies, we have a Holland Lop. She is a bit afraid to go down the ramp. I thought the bottom had the same wire fencing as the sides but it doesn’t, only the tray. We placed pads on both trays then bedding. The 3 doors and roof opening is amazing for cleaning, rearranging and feeding. The wheels make this hutch movable with little effort. All in all, this hutch deserves 5 stars! It’s perfect for one small rabbit! I hope this review helps anyone discouraged by the negative reviews.

This was so easy to put together plenty of space and easy access with the multiple doors seeing that my rabbit is in the house while it’s too hot outside it’s nice to look at. The customer service on this was fantastic took care of my issue and kept me informed. I would purchased again from this company.

It took me a little over an hour to build by myself. You definitely would want to use an electric drill, I can’t imagine building it without one. It would have taken a lot longer. Taking it out of the package it had a strong odor, maybe ammonia? It subsided some after being out of the box. The would split in a few spots when I was putting in the screws. Overall, it was simple, the instructions were clear. It seems sturdy. I dont think I would keep this outside though. It doesn’t seem like it would hold up well outdoors in different seasons. Great for indoors. I purchased this for our family bunny. He is still a baby, we haven’t put him inside yet, but I think It will hold up well while he’s still young and small.

Very disappointed in this cage. The design on how to assemble left areas without much support. I personally believe it could have used some additional screws or even some kind of bracket to hold the two main pieces together. Wood glue would also be a plus. The lid on top with the "awning" would not go on straight. I kept trying to fix it but it's crooked. The pet must walk in its feces because there is no grate above the shelves. I would prefer something that allowed it to fall through (we are trying to litter box train our bunny). Again, because our bunny isn't yet litter boxed trained, she urinates on the sides and it soaks up into the wood and even drips onto the floor. They say that the ramp is "chew proof" but the rest of the cage is. It's just funny how they would point out that fact. It would have been nice if the pieces of wood keeping the rest connected would have been on top to help keep the bunny from sliding down. I tried flipping it but the way the angles are cut in the ends, it just wouldn't work. Overall, it looks adorable but ultimately doesn't work great for a pet.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Great Hutch, Solid Design So far I’m very happy with this hutch and am giving it 5 stars. It took two people to assemble, and I highly recommend using an impact drill—trying to put this together with just a screwdriver would be very difficult. The wood has a natural, fresh wood smell, which I loved. The instructions were fairly simple and easy to follow. We did experience a bit of wood splitting when inserting screws, but once we learned to avoid placing screws too close to the edges, it wasn’t an issue. My rabbit went inside right away with no hesitation. The ramp leading down to the lower level is a little steep, so my bunny is still figuring it out, but I expect that to improve with time. I absolutely love the wheels on the bottom—this hutch is lightweight, glides smoothly, and is easy to move around. Overall, great quality, thoughtful design, and I would definitely recommend this hutch.

The wood seems to be very cheap. A couple of the screws split the wood. There’s knicks all over the wood pieces. The wood also smells terribly, I’m not sure my baby bunny will survive from the strong smell. Pretty sturdy and somewhat easy to put together. Hoping the smell fades before getting the rabbit.

We had to get two because we have two unaltered rabbits the first one we had a few hiccups and a few pieces that are a bit tight fitting but the second one went right together and everything opens and closes smoothly. It’s great that there are several doors and the trays at the bottom come out for an easy clean. Though the wire holds the food and water bowls I keep the water bowl right over the litter box because it seems a bit heavy for the wire.
