  • Great chair, unbelievable price
Color: Light Black
I’m not sure what more you can ask for out of a chair at this price. Easy to assemble, looks pretty good, easy to operate, cushion, lumbar, and neck support are all really good and better than I was expecting. I love the foot rest and the ability to set the exact recline with ease. I’m 5’10” 170 lbs and this chair is very comfortable and foot rest is perfect. For larger people this chair may not be perfect, but it would likely get the job done. If you want something that looks fancy, this isn’t your chair. It looks nice and it’s sturdy, but not fancy. All parts are heavy black plastic. Are there better chairs out there. Yep. Do they cost 3x to 10x more? Yep. I’d say you get 90% of the chair for half the price of name brand “budget” gaming chair options. I’d be surprised if anyone who bought this chair didn’t rate it 8 out of 10 or higher. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality. Very Impressed
Color: Light Black
This chair is a lot nicer than I had anticipated after reading some reviews. It was packed extremely well and the directions and assembly was super simple! They pack all the hardware in an easy access package that's labeled for every step in the assembly process. They also give you the tool, an Allen wrench, that works on each bolt and screw. The chair is well designed and comfortable. The seat is firm and thick! Don't get me wrong, it's not hard by no means. It has great cushion. It's just well built. Should last for years. It's sturdy! It's not a cheap chair. I bought the textile version at an incredible price and that's great marketing because after putting this baby together, I'd have no hesitations about buying another in the faux leather because I now know the quality is really they from this manufacturer. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Very comfortable and the best chair I have sat in
Color: Light Black
My first mistake when buying an office chair was not paying attention to the cushioning. I had enough of my legs falling asleep, so I bought this chair. This chair is so comfortable that I could totally take a nap in it. I am a medium sized person and I can cross my legs in it! The fabric is nice and soft too. My first office chair was mesh, which dug into my skin. This chair does not give me discomfort. I love the little back pillow that comes with this chair. The height is adjustable, so it works well with most desk heights. This chair was also so easy to put together. The foot rest was a little difficult to adjust to slide easy. Back rest was a little thinner than I expected, but it is still sturdy. This is the best office/gaming chair I have sat in! I am about to fall asleep writing this from sitting in this chair. ... show more

  • Good but not great. Not really for Big & Tall.
Color: Light Black
The GTPLAYER Gaming Chair (GT829) is a very comfortably padded chair. It has very soft fabric that feels great. Assembly is very easy and straight forward. The included instructions were clear and well done. The features of the chair work flawlessly, with enough reclining angle to cater to most people. The "foot" rest is more of a leg rest, but it does the job. When buying this chair, double check dimensions. This chair is advertised as "Big and Tall Gamings Chairs". I am 6ft, 260lbs. The seat has plenty of space/room, but the armrests were not widened to match the seat. So it's a snug fit for bigger people. It's still comfortable, but the armrests do grip bigger people a little tighter than they should. I came from using a 20 year old, $75 executive computer chair that costs an arm and a leg these days. There is a 5 inch difference in the space between the armrests and that makes a world of difference for bigger people. I don't see or feel the longevity of this chair being too long as the plastic arm rests and fabric will probably be the first to see wear and tear. They don't make things like they use to, but hopefully this chair will hold up for at least a few years. Not a bad buy, but I would definitely try to buy it on sale. ... show more

  • I think online gamers and streamers are on to something!
Color: Black
I've had multiple office chairs... at home and at work, and each has their own unique characteristics. I originally had an IKEA office chair that I bought online, instead of going into the store, and the seat itself is a little shallow for what I normally like. It could be my posture, it could be the chair, but my upper shoulders were starting to get sore I needed something that was more comfortable for me at the house since I started working from home. I definitely didn't want a PU or leather chair, so I was looking for a fabric chair that would be comfortable and not collect dog hair. I also wanted a foot rest as well. I've never had a gaming chair, but if gamers can sit in those chairs for hours on end to play and stream, then there has to be something to it, right? The chair came in a couple of days earlier than expected, which was great! The box is heavy, so if you are not comfortable sliding this across your floor, I would suggest having someone help you bring it in, or have something to roll it on. I popped the box open and everything was there. No weird smells, no tears, all was in good condition! It took me about 30 minutes to put the chair together while following the very detailed instructions and boom! Chair! I've been using this for a few days and my back already feels better, and the recline and foot rest work really well! The height is standard and is adjustable like all office chairs, the depth is better than the IKEA chair, and the width is standard. Not bulky at all. I have a small office space at the house, but this fits great! It's comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. But if you're looking for more a cloud, then this isn't it. This is between a firm and a cloud. But I'm not sure if it's because it hasn't been "broken in" yet. The ONLY downfall I would say is the fabric. While comfortable and soft, it is... slippery. If I sit in the chair a certain way, I slide a little bit. But honestly, I don't mind at all because the chair is super comfy! I did, on my own accord, swap the wheels out for rollerblade wheels instead of the standard caster wheels it comes with. But I rolled with the standard for a couple of days before the new wheels came in and they're fine. I have tile floors, so not sure about any scuffing. WORD OF ADVICE: I'm not sure if anyone else had this issue, but when I was putting the chair together I did notice that the metal bar that connects the back of the chair to the bottom did not line up 100% with the screw holes. So the bar was crooked a little bit when I tried to attach it to the bottom. The instructions say to attach the bar to the back of the chair and THEN the bottom, I did it the opposite way and got it to work. If you're having that issue, I would so go backwards for that part and see where that lands you. First gaming chair, and overall I'm pleased with the results and the price wasn't bad for it either! ... show more

  • Absolutely worth it! A great deal!
Color: Light Black
This chair has been a fantastic purchase! I thought I would have to get a super expensive chair to get the comfort and support I wanted but this one was very reasonably priced and I got it on sale too. It's extremely versatile and very comfortable even for all day gaming. The lumbar pillow is the perfect firmness. The seat width is such a breath of fresh air. I can change how I'm sitting regularly and comfortably with plenty of room. All of its movement is smooth, i.e hinges, support column, wheels. My favourite feature so far is locking the recline in the exact angle I want with a quick push of a lever. It was easy to put together (though it took a bit of hand strength for some spots, like the last screws on the sides, so it may not be very easy for anyone with dexterity concerns.) It's almost completely noise-free and what noises it does make are quiet. The fabric is holding up well so far (2 months at the time of review). As a seamstress, I had concerns since the faux suede types usually aren't, but it's doing well. And the temperature regulates great. No overheating or sweating. The only thing struggling occasionally are the zippers on the neck and lumbar pillows. Sometimes they slip open since the fabric is so tight over the inserts, but they can be closed again and the zippers aren't technically broken yet. The footrest is a nice addition but doesn't extend far enough out to fully stretch my legs out. An extender that collapses into the main bars for the footrest would be needed since the bars are exactly the depth of the seat when put away. It they were longer they would stick out the back underneath the seat. All-in-all, a fantastic purchase that my weary body is appreciating when I'm at my computer. I'll try to remember to update this on the durability in a few months! ... show more

  • Bad, bad, and also not good.
Color: Red
This chair looks great. I bought it because it had pocket spring construction and the seat wasn't your typical "chunk of foam on a piece of plywood"...and it was red. I hate it. It creaks and wobbles every time you move in it. It took me a solid hour to get one of the arm rest bolts threaded, then the next day, the arm fell off. It's back on, but I have no faith that it will not say goodbye again. The fabric is so slippery that after you sit in it for 15 or 20 minutes, you start to slide forward, out of the chair. Microfiber. Yuck. Warning: Do *not* try to lean back when the chair is in the upright position or you'll end up sitting on the floor (after the seat scrapes your back on the way down.) The headrest is in the right position and is quite comfortable. The lumbar cushion is uncomfortable and, if you do give it a try, it helps in pushing you out of the chair. Sitting on it doesn't help. If you decide to recline, make sure you have a friend there to take a video...so you can post it in the 'funny videos' area of YouTube. It reclines, but the spring isn't adjustable and has so little tension on it that you may end up somewhere you don't want to be. (e.g., the floor) I don't know who this chair was made for but it certainly wasn't me. Maybe it was you. I'm not a gamer. I just wanted a decent (and fairly comfortable) chair for my desk. Maybe if I was a 16 year old gamer I'd be ecstatic. But I'm not. While I'm at it, how does that tubby guy in the picture get his hugeness on that seat and cross his legs? I'm probably half his size and fairly flexible and I can't do that. I tried. Didn't work. I can easily get one leg up on the foot rest though - two if you cross them. Finally, on top of all of this, the pneumatic cylinder seems to lose air on a random basis. As much as I thought I would like this chair I do not. In fact, as much as I hate to say it, this is probably one of the worst chairs that has ever been introduced to my rear end...and back...and arms. I have been in old, wooden office chairs devoid of all padding and/or adjustment that were more comfortable. Even though it says "FREE RETURNS", I would return this chair in a heartbeat - except that I'd have to disassemble it and get it back in the box in a satisfactory manner. You should buy this chair, but only if you want a nice-looking, fabric covered chair that you will never enjoy sitting in. For me, it's just money wasted. ... show more
