  • I love the guitar
Size: Right Color: Antique Toner
I love the guitar. I am a small woman but it fits nicely in my hands. Great sound too. I was a little worried about the shipping but it was well packaged and had a shock sensor on the outside of the shipping box to determine if there were any handling issues. I had a question about the pick-up and called the Chicago store and they answered my question. ... show more

  • Absolutely best Martin guitar that I have ever played!
Size: Right Color: Antique Toner
The Martin OMJM This not only a very attractive guitar and extremely classy It's probably one of the Best & Easiest playing guitars I have ever used I am a Semi professional musician I own other Martins Taylors and Gibson's This guitar for me is on the next level they custom design the neck Amazingly easy to maneuver up-and-down the frets This guitar is basically a OM-28V Custom Shop! This guitar was model after John's original OM-28V With a bunch of Bells and whistles that are actually useful Engelmann Spruce Top aka Mountain spruce only available on their High End Guitars Up to $150000 Guitars Go to their website type in top wood check it out for yourself This particular spruce ages like no other! A one of a kind neck profile completely customized, Style 45 rosettes Abelone Classy All The Way. I like John Mayer Amazing Guitarist but I'm not a Fan Boy But I do love how he designed this guitar you can play any style finger picking, strumming, blue grass Country or Rock These are collectors but more importantly they are players each guitar is individual numbered these guitars have sky rocketed in price extremely sought after for their beauty and sound they produce The attention to detail on these is absolutely amazing hats off to Martin guitars for hitting a grand slam home run with the OMJM There was a reviewer earlier who said not to use coated strings I don't know where hes from but that's not true I'm on the road with this guitar complements constantly I use coated strings absolutely sounds amazing! • pure joy to play
Size: Right Color: Antique Toner
this thing is really a joy to play. compared to a older D 15 i have this is a lot more detailed and a bit louder. the action is smooth and great for someone with smaller hands. while it sounds great unplugged, it sounds much better plugged in. the sound is the most perfectly balanced of any guitar ive ever played throughout every string. finger picking is where this thing goes through the stratosphere. every note is like listening to a mastered recording. the case is super high quality. for recording, mix in a little reverb or delay and it will make a track. pros: perfect tonality and balance. plugged in sweetness. great looks and balance. bracing is overkill and will last for generations if cared for. pull this outta the case and its a cannon among bee bees. perfect for recording. great neck. only 1000 made so u wont be bumping in to many and give a unique feeling. very collectable, heirloom quality. cons: while it is perfectly balanced, it can lack bass next to a full dreadnought but not thin like a taylor. coated strings sound exceptionally bad on this guitar, totally killing the detail that makes it stand out. the signatures on the inside of john and martin are copies, not actual signatures. lacks dove tail neck. ... show more
