I used this grill pan to cook a ribeye steak and I was very happy with how it came out. The sear marks were incredible, and the steak was very flavorful. The grill pan also fit perfectly on my stovetop. I cannot wait to use this pan again in the near future.

I love the fact that you don’t need to pre-season and it’s ready to go right out of the package! Great size which allowed me to fit 4 big burgers. Heated up fast, incredible sear and cooked to perfection! Clean up was easy, some hot water and a tiny bit of soap and everything rinsed out. A must have in everyone’s kitchen! ... show more

Tried out the new Bobby Flay by GreenPan Cast Iron grill pan today, and I definitely loved its performance…steaks taste amazing and the pan reminds me of all the old cast iron pans that have been passed thru generations down…but with my favorite chef’s name to it! The media could not be loaded. I love that this came pre-seasoned so I could use it right out of the box! The pan was great for getting grill marks on my chicken and really keeping all of the seasonings in without smothering it in oil from laying in a flat pan. I could see this being a great addition to a grill to keep things separate from each other or even to use over an open fire. Cleaned right up after use and because it’s pre seasoned I don’t have to worry about rusting! ... show more

This grill pan is a great size! At 11inches the cooking surface is big but it stores so we’ll with it’s square shape. It’s fits nicely on my smaller electric stove and I can store it just fine with my other cookware. Having a cast iron that’s also a grill pan is a bonus.

This is such a nice quality cast iron pan. I love cast iron as it is so versatile to cook with, but I hate that you have to season it after each use. This pan comes pre-seasoned, and you don't have to season it each time you cook as long as you take care of it properly. Once you're done cooking, wash it in warm soapy water. The key is to make sure you dry it completely immediately after washing it and don't let it just air dry. I ordered the 11" square grill pan. You can sear, sauté, grill, roast, broil and bake with this pan, so you can use it for so many different dishes. The grill ridges keep your food from soaking up fats as they're not sitting in them and soaking them up. The pour spouts on each side make it very convenient to drain or pour out your food. The main reason I love cast iron is the fact that you can put it in the oven, use it on the stove top or use it over an open fire and you consistently get even heat. This is a high-quality grill pan with a lot of nice extra features, and I definitely recommend it. ... show more

This review is for a Bobby Flay cast iron pan (GreenPan x Bobby Flay 10” Cast Iron Pre-Seasoned Skillet with Helper Handle, Professional Grade Heavy Duty, Induction Suitable, Versatile Stovetop, Oven, BBQ, Fire & Grill, Indoor/Outdoor Use, Black). I got this cast iron pan in the 10" round and have been using it for one week. My favorite thing about this product is that it comes preseasoned. Anyone who has spent years building up seasoning and coating on a cast iron pan or stoneware piece will appreciate being able to use it right out of the box. It will only get better with time. The product has a lot of weight to it and it a quality piece. The support carrying handle is extremely important for people with limited arm strength. I also love the pouring spout. The first thing I did was sear some steaks in the pan, and they turned out beautifully, with a nice crisp layer. Delicious! The pan would make a nice addition to any cook's kitchen or it would make a thoughtful gift as well. ... show more

I liked both the main handle and the support handle. The weight is nice. But, the interior finish is no better than a regular skillet from that place in TN. It still needs some seasoning, just like others. You can't get that slick non-stick surface like grandma's skillet without some personal investment.
