First, WARNING, don't use PAM or other spray on oils. The manufacturer clearly tells you not to. Our daughter has a set, and she used PAM many times before realizing that the non-stick feature was being compromised... Did not work as well. Have you ever cooked scrambled eggs in your stainless steel pans only to have to scrub the baked on egg residue off? Really scrub? With these pans, no scrubbing is needed. In fact, I just rinse the "cool" pan off under real warm water and the egg residue comes right off. Worse case you might have to use a wet soapy sponge, and glide the sponge over the pan. We have a conductive range and these pots and pans work perfectly with it. These pots and pans are truly non-stick. After having these pots and pans for several months they still look brand new.... inside and outside. ... show more

I read lots of reviews before I decided to purchase these pans. They were perfect for the price range I was seeking. Yes, I would love to have the ones Chef Ramsey endorses, but not feasible for my budget. These pans are super easy to clean - I do hand wash them as recommended. They heat evenly and look nice.     • Fantastic cooking performance and good non-stick coating - but buy a melamine sponge

I was hesitant to buy these at first given reviews here and from other pro cooking sites talking about how ceramic pans tend to start out non-stick but lose it over time. At first, I found the same was true - for the first few months, they were super non-stick - eggs practically flew around the pan. But slowly, things started sticking more - especially eggs. But then I did something amazing - I read the FAQ on the Web site. :-) And it has a simple tip - if things start sticking, use a simple melamine sponge, wipe it several times with hot water. IT WORKS. Using a simple, cheap melamine sponge about once every week or two, depending on what we've used the pan for that week, keeps it very non-stick. Otherwise, we just wash it with soap and water normally. GreenPan - include a melamine sponge with every pan AND put a note about this in the box! This is an amazing tip and will avoid the negative reviews some leave. Pros * Great cooking performance - good browning, good balance of heat sensitivity and performance * Easy clean up * Very non stick (don't forget the melamine sponge) - I found that I needed to use the melamine sponge more (e.g. once a week) when cooking at higher heats or with stickier foods and less (every 1-3 weeks) when just using it frequently for things like eggs * Look great * Grill pan is great - has now replaced our beloved Griddler for most things * Nice, sturdy, well-fitting lids * Good price for what you get - good looking, ceramic non-stick pans with good browning * Have been using the fry pan for 6 months and it's still non-stick and going strong * Great handles - comfy and oven-safe * Oven safe Cons * They don't recommend very high heat. Not too much of a con given how well this sautes and browns at medium-high heat * Somewhat sensitive to heat changes - this is a good or bad thing depending on what you're cooking. Sometimes I prefer a pan with a thicker bottom and slower reaction, other times something with faster reaction like these is great. * Doesn't include a melamine sponge or directions in the box to use it periodically - in just my experience, this is necessary to keep the pans and the cook happy. ... show more

I bought this set with reservations. I just haven't had the best of luck with pots and pans. These are so light weight. They don't stain and they are nonstick. My teenage daughter loves to cook, but has ruined my pans in the past. These pans heat evenenly which is a must. They are very nice looking, asteticly pleasing. If you are a cooking enthusiast, these pots are not for you! My wife and I are lovers of good cooking, and we always try to equip ourselves with the best! We were researching to replace some old sets of pots and came across these. When we received the set, we loved the quality we saw, and where missleaded bu some good reviews. but it turned out to be just an illusion (we read the instructions carefully and followed them to the letter). The set of pots itself might not be so bad if you are just boiling things in water, like soups, pasta, vegetables, and so on. The big problem we encountered and couldn't overcome is when it came to browning or grilling in the two frying pans (supposedly non-stick), it turned out to be mission impossible. They are only good for boiling water or simply not using at all. If you want to brown or even make simple scrambled eggs, you won't be able to do it without them sticking (even with large amounts of oil). We are completely disappointed, and these pans will not be used in our home. We received them when we where traveling, so by the time we realized the bad quality, it was too late to return them. If you do want to try them out, make sure you check them well while you can still return them, which I guess you most likely will. ... show more
