Should a skillet make you smile at the sight of it? These pans are gorgeous! I had been planning on buy a series of copper pots and pans but the price for them were so up there. By chance I clicked on these pans and saw the beautiful gold handles and was skeptical- that the picture truly representational of the actual product. I went ahead and purchased the pans anyway. I am so glad that I did! They are gorgeous, did I already say that? Well, it bares repeating, they are non stick, I don’t know how they did it but the nonstick has these little flecks in the paint that look like shinny white glitter! They are great for making omelette, they slip out of the pan like silk. I am so impressed with these, they are incredibly light weight, I am not a chef, but I would be amazed if they weren’t chef approved, these are great! I love to cook, but the experience of cooking with these was glorious it made me so happy! The pans are light weight for those of us with thin wrist, they make lifting the pan effortless, the handles are perfect! The texture is smooth on the gold handles, but there is a grip surface that makes the handles very grip-able and not slippery. The handles don’t heat up! I immediately ordered another set once I saw what a great product it was. The pans are a white-cream, if your going with a white and gold kitchen aesthetic these are perfect! They look great hanging, and amazingly on the stove. The size of the pans are standard sizes so they should fit with other lids. This set would have been amazing if they came with matching lids. That’s the only downside. The pans contrast nicely on the stove against a charcoal, black grey, or even blue stoves, as well as outdoor kitchens-you literally cannot go wrong with this purchase. The quality is amazing, the handles are firm and secure. The pans clean up effortlessly, the bottom of the pan does not burn or scar. Best of all they look like art on the kitchen wall. The price on this product makes you feel like you got an amazing deal, mainly because you did. I bought these pans to go with my Cuiseanart cast iron pots, in white enamel, they look good together, (but the cuiseanart pots are winter white and the pans are white-cream.) These pans are beautiful! The ceramic surface does a great job of not sticking, and they're super easy to clean. I love the color and the beautiful gold handle. They heat up and cook very evenly. Would definitely buy again.

    • CHIPPING IS "NORMAL"??

Purchased in late October 2024, by early February the pans are already chipping and loosing the non-stick. Contacted their warranty program and they said this is NORMAL. Here is their response: "Chipping is a natural occurrence with Ceramic Non-stick. Chipping up to 1 to 2 mm is a perfectly normal occurrence because Ceramic coatings are very hard – i.e. in the same way as Porcelain Ceramics are hard but not very flexible. Secondly, unlike with PTFE coatings, Thermolon does not require any chemical adhesive primer to stick to the pan. Thermolon’s adhesion relies solely on roughening the pan’s surface before the coating is applied, which creates a natural lock and key adhesion. Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use." I was blown away. So beware, it is normal that the ceramic coating chips. We are not comfortable cooking on these anymore due to the chips. HUGE waste of money. ... show more

So I've owned the set about a year. Initial delivery the handles had broken out of the side of the box. Any scratches were very tiny so the handles are durable, and have been overall. The handles are very sturdy and don't get very hot. I began using the largest right away and it was great! Heat distribution could have been a tad better but, not bad. I noticed a few scratches within two weeks around the rim so I stopped putting it upside down in my wire dish drying rack and hand dried the pan - no more scratches. Cleaning was a dream early on however, the surface began to have slight discolorations the third time I cooked with it. All three times were just pancakes. By the fourth month the pan was quite discolored and food was sticking. By the sixth month I was soaking the pan regularly to loosen cooked on food. So I switched to the next smaller pan and the discoloration and food sticking progressed about the same. Now between the Amazon description, the printed enclosed material and a follow on email warning about what not to use cleaning the pan and use for cooking, seems like a paper towel is about all you should use. I use a sponge and a soft plastic scrubber to clean the pans. I do use plastic, silicone and wooden spoons, flippers and the like in the pans to cook. I actively avoid any metal near the pans to avoid possibility of scratching. To cook and have a low chance to food sticking you need to use oil/butter to float your food. Oh, they could use lids too. Really miss them and had to find one of my other lids to use. In summary, would I recommend this product ? No would I buy it again? No ... show more

I have not used these pans yet, so not able to review upkeep, but I originally found them online at William Sonoma (the exact same product and price) - however, I chose Amazon for the Prime free shipping and next day delivery to save a little $ + quicker shipping.
