It broke after the first time

After two years of use, my old hose (50FT Expandable Garden Hose, Water Hose with 9 Function Nozzle Spray Nozzle, Flexible Water Hose) broke. I purchased this to replace the broken hose. The new hose has metal outer sheathing. My old hose has polyester fabric sheathing. So it will last much longer - especially if I leave it out in the hot summer California sun and when I drag it along the ground. The bad thing about this hose is that it is too thin. It is barely 1/2 inch in diameter. See my attached photo. One is the photo of the steel hose and the other one is another working garden hose. I took the photos for comparison. Because the hose diameter is smaller the flow of water is less than what you would usually expect. And because of this it is taking longer to water my lawn. Tip: Do not pull the hose by the spray nozzle. I broke my Polyester Fabric Flexible Water Hose by doing that. This steel hose except for the outer sheathing material the inner construction is the same. Pulling the hose by the nozzle would likely separate the inner tubing from the attaching hardware.

Doesn’t wind up with ease, cheap nozzles, low pressure and leaked. Thought I was buying the same hose l bought earlier. I bought these to give as gifts for Christmas because I loved the ones I bought earlier in the season. Unfortunately I didn’t even look at them until tonight and it is past the return date. Piece of junk , go with Rosy Garden, BIG difference!!!

I got this as a gift for my brother because he needed a hose and I wanted to give him something that would last and be durable for his chicken farm. He raves about this hose and has asked me if it could be put on his Christmas list this year. I'm thinking yes, he's going to be getting another one for Christmas. He says that he doesn't have to worry about it kinking or flipping, it stays where he puts it, and he loves the sprayer. It is worth every penny. When a famer tells you something is the best thing he's used, believe him.
