I watched a video on this hose. It came in a box with zip ties to hold the hose together. The zip ties were not too tight so there were no crink marks on the hose. It comes with a sprayer to place on the end of the hose so that it can be plugged so no water comes out. That process is supposed to take care of the hose tangling fup. I did that but maybe I didn’t do it long enough. It was like wrestling with an alligator. What I ended up doing was to bend the parts of the hose that were all tangled up. The hose made a cracking noise when I did that. I kept bending the hose in those areas that kept tangling up. Took about 2 hours.. if I had to do it over I would run the water through a plugged hose for about 30 to 45 minutes. I only did it for about 10 minutes. After that I could put it on a hose reel without unraveling the whole hose and water would come out of the hose without any problems. ... show more

    • Great light weight hose that seems like it should last for many years.

This hybrid rubber hose seems very durable. The hose will kink if not unwound properly, but the kinks don't compress like so many of the vinyl composite hoses that develop permanent kinks in those areas. There is no "memory" to the coils so it unrolls and stays straight and rewinds easily. The nozzle that comes with the hose adjusts from a fine mist to a heavy spray by turning the yellow portion of the nozzle. Overall I am pleased with it and have ordered another one. One Con is the aluminum ends which will weld themselves to brass hose spigots or nozzles if left in place for a long period of time due to galvanic action. I have joked all my life that I’d pay a million dollars for a hose that didn’t leak at the water faucet or where the sprayer connects to the hose. I’m always soaked. But I have what I wanted now!!!! I was hoping it wouldn’t tangle but I’ll live with it. (Now I’m gonna have to add one more thing to the million dollar bounty. I need a hose that doesn’t leak or tangle. 😄) ... show more

I did not find these hoses to be as non-kink as advertised. They seemed almost like all stiffer hoses to me. I had already opened one so kept but sent the other one back.

Hose is great, however I turned the water on and it popped off the male end connector, frustrating but I had to clamp it and it works. I addressed the issue with the seller and they gladly sent me a new one! If any problems contact customer service they were great!
