    • Too small to keep any chickens in full-time.
This is a really SMALL coop. I realized based on the measurements and just got it for two roosters to sleep in at night. But, it's way too small to keep any chickens in that can't get out to free range during the day. It's also too small for large chickens. Our roosters aren't big and they barely fit through the door. This is better suited for rabbits. There are no roosts - which chickens prefer. I had to add my own. And even then, there is not much room to put a roost off the poop tray and not have them hit the roof. There's also no nesting box. So again, not the best for hens to be in full time. I had to reinforce everything with wood glue and staples to make it a bit sturdier. Also, screwed it to a base so predators couldn't just push it over. It's really lightweight and flimsy. I'm not sure why coops like this cost over $100. They are maybe worth half that. But, I couldn't find anything cheaper than this at the time I was looking. ... show more

A very luxurious bunny house. I got it for my ducks and they love it. They only sleep in it since they have a big pen where they roam free all day long. This a very well made house very easy to put together but I do not recommend for anything other than rabbit or small bird. The house is really small but it works for us. ... show more

Was this the best coop i could get, no. Are there cheaper ones that have much better reviews? Also yes. But I’m lazy and I didn’t want to cancel my order so I stuck with it. Smaller than I thought it was gonna be and more difficult to put together than I wanted to deal with but the kid got it together and only needed a power tool and like 5 adjustments to the directions. Plus, bonus screws! Yay. I’m scared, but hopefully this wasn’t a complete waste. ... show more

We got the piece, the box was torn and broken. A few pieces were missing but we were able to make adjustments so it's stable.

I like this little coop but it came with screws pushed through the wood. Please make sure from now on it doesn’t happen to others. I will epoxy it bc I’m in a hurry to get my broody momma hen in it. Other than that it’s a cute coop.

I saw the negative reviews and still purchased this product. The directions are vague and have no words just pictures. So it can be a guessing game. My husband and I took the challenge on because we needed the hutch for our bunnies. We had to get creative with some of the pieces. The wood is super soft, We were able to do that by hand-I think a drill would split the wood. Overall it will do the job. Not sure how long it will last outside. ... show more

Yes this is a low priced coop, but it is still very flimsy. Directions somewhat difficult to follow for assembly. Some parts do not fit together properly. Had to put this inside a dog kennel to protect the chickens from predators. Not recommended.
