Got this because i really liked the color and the fit on the cast iron pan is great... unfortunately, the silicone is a little thin, and if you have a really hot and heavy pan, it will torque the metal hard against the silicone so you can't hold it very long until you start to get burned... real bummer... ... show more

This high temperature silicone handle cover works great. Provides a non slip grip on cast iron cookware. It should even survive in the oven (I haven't tried that yet). It certainly protects your hands, that was our main reason for getting them. If your hands are sensitive to heat and rough texture of some cookware, you'll appreciate these. ... show more
